The Neighborhood Hotel-Little Italy

Very clean and comfortable. Felt more like an apartment than a hotel. In a good neighborhood. Close to bars and restaurants and transit. Good amenities. Easy and convienent to access the room/check in. Really comfortable bed and pillows and sound machine!

Rented a two bed room suite.. perfect for my family. The only problem was the hid-a-bed sofa which had a broken frame, thus we were unable to use it. This was not really a problem for us.

I came down to my niece's graduation at nearby UIC and was very pleased with the accommodation and room. Communication as far as check in and out was handled via text which I was fine with, plus they provide with a detailed guide for your stay. Very handy. I definitely will recommend this place.

Booked a stay for my family during graduation week, I had a fantastic stay. The space felt modern yet warm, with thoughtful interior design touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The high ceilings, moody lighting, and stylish furniture gave the room a boutique vibe, while the fully equipped kitchen and living area added a ton of comfort and convenience.

I chose this location for price, high reviews, and proximity to the event venue I had plans to attend. The pictures are accurate the furnishings and amenities are among the best I’ve come across in a hotel experience. Amazing bed. Smoke hot water and great pressure. Loved the small touches, sound machine in bedroom, steam machine, extra bedding, items were all in good condition and appeared new/high quality. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and made it easy to grab groceries and prepare meals. There wasn’t a walking distance grocery close enough unfortunately, so I took an uber. The neighborhood was not the best, Taylor street was very busy including some transient individuals so I recommend being vigilante of your surroundings. Several options for dining within safe walking distance available. Loved the welcome book, very helpful. Hotel security was acceptable with a coded entry, and a brightly lit small waiting area/reception, good signage and easy to find off street stoop. People hung out in the lobby which was subject to potential issues although I didn’t experience any. There is no staff on site, that I saw or was introduced to. This could create the potential for disruptive activity, based upon guest consideration of others as there’s no direct supervision on the premises. All the communication with the hotel was excellent and prompt, very easy instructions. This property would work best for travelers who are more self sufficient and don’t need special assistance from guest services or extra accommodations. Overall I felt very comfortable and safe inside and enjoyed my stay but wouldn’t return bc of the concerning neighborhood.
