Having to book 48hours in advance for a Sunday dinner if I had of known there was going to be a party/ loud music wouldn’t of stayed

Staff were lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Great service when I had dinner. Good location for what I needed. Good for the price you pay.

The room was very dated. It probably was cleaned but didnt feel cleaned. There was hair in the sink that wasnt mine. The shower room was okay but again dated. But was good for the price I paid.

Clean, tidy room, nice location. Comfortable, traditional pub.

The barman was very friendly, I'm sad to say this was the best part of our stay.

I spoke to a lady on the phone the day before our stay who was very unfriendly. It was zero degrees outside and the heating had not been turned on in the rooms, they were unusable upon arrival they were so cold. We also had a dirty towel which I wouldn't normally even mention as it's a small thing, but with the other disappointments, I'll add it in. The pub was empty so I fail to understand why something as simple as the heating wasn't done, the barman warned us the rooms would be freezing upon arrival. Very let down to be honest. We are locals but had family visiting all the way from South Africa who were staying with us. With the history of the Inn I thought it would be a great place to stay for them, very disappointed.
