Delta Hotels by Marriott Dar es Salaam

Considering the available hotel options in Tanzania, Delta Hotel offers an overall acceptable experience. I stayed here three times in 2025, and each stay was generally fine. The price and quality are well aligned, and the location is quite nice. Breakfast, however, could be improved to offer a better start to the day. Overall, it remains a reasonable choice for its category.

Excellent service...the rooms are very cool, clean and comfortable. Good food and good customer services It is the best place also to enjoy in night hours

The breakfast was delicious but I think it should be relocated to the deck over seeing the Ocean which makes it more like a holiday resort instead of just a business resort

I think in the bathrooms it should be a bit more brighter and it should have shat-off buy the toilet there is a facility to install one by the outlet of water to the toilet and lastly the toilet should have a toilet brush. It is embarrassing when you have left marks in the toilet and the cleaners or visitors see it.

The Aircon suction noise in the toilets and the corridor was just irritating and not supportive for a night rest. Please so something about the Aircon noise.

Overall very clean establishment & friendly staff. The breakfast buffet and services provided were exceptional. Location, near Slipway which is ideal for shopping, restaurants & activities. ....... 2 downsides - Check-in takes far too long. 2nd point. On Oct 18 a fashing show was held on the premises such as the garden & pool area. The pool was blocked for 4 days for guests (!) Unacceptable. But much worse was the event itself. While some noise was to be expected, what we had to endure that evening, starting at 17.00, was hellish. The management announced the event would run from 18 - to 11 p.m. In short, the music was so loud that the windows & doors vibrated in the rooms! Sleep or rest was impossible. Only after several calls to reception did the noise stop after midnight. Unacceptable! A hotel is exactly that and not a night club.
