Kidoti Bay

The breakfast pancakes and fresh fruit were superb. There was real coffee in a cafetiere but despite constant requests it was not made strong enough for our usual tastes. The staff team were very accommodating on special requests including going out to fund tamarind for juice and jackfruit for us. The manager Mr Hamisi was super helpful and all the staff were keen to support even if there were some misunderstandings due to language.

When booking the photos on the site led us to believe it would be on a sandy beach. Unfortunately this is not the case. The "beach" is actually a huge expense of coral and mud. Cool for mudlarking at low tide and OK for swimming from the steps at high tide but not a place to lie back on the sand and swim at anu time of day. However the deck and pool made up for that. All in all a very pleasant and laid back place to chill and let the work stress drift away.

Pracownicy pracują tam za karę tak można wywnioskować po ich minach i podejściu do wszystkiego. Wykupiłem domek z widokiem na morze po czy dostaliśmy z widokiem na krzaki ale po rozmowie następnego dnia wymieniono nam na właściwy. Jedzenie takie sobie . Przez większość czasu jest odpływ i nie ciekawy widok zostaje basen i to jest jedyna aktywność którą można wykonywać w tym hotelu . Idealne miejsce jeśli ktos chce leżeć na leżaku i tyle.

De muziek stond heel hard. We hadden gevraagt of het zachter mocht. Kon niet.. De dag erna aan iemand anders gevraagt toen hebben ze het wel zachter gedaan gelukkig. Toen was het meteen veel ontspannender. De wifi was goed maar bereik was niet in onze kamer. We hebben dit aangegeven maar werd niets mee gedaan. Het was vervelend omdat we nog moesten werken en internet nodig hadden en we vanwege de harde muziek ook niet bij de bar konden zitten! Wordt een dure internet rekening..

Ich hatte mit meiner Tochter und meiner Frau eine unvergessliche Zeit in Kidoti Bay. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und der Garten ist toll angelegt. Das Frühstück war ausgiebig mit u.a. Früchten, Pancakes und einer Kanne gutem Kaffee. Tagsüber kann man entweder die Ruhe am Pool oder auf der großen Terrasse genießen oder mit dem lokalen Bus oder Taxi nach Nungwi oder Kendwa fahren (ca 10-15min). Das Personal ist aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind auf dem neusten Stand und sehr sauber. Das Abendessen war fabelhaft. Wir haben gegrillten Oktopus und Nudeln mit Sahnesauce und Chicken bestellt. Die Essenspreise sind der Qualität angemessen. Der Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse ist atemberaubend. Wenn die Gezeiten mitspielen, kann man auch gut ein paar Runden im Meer schwimmen. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Everything from its location to the views, the amenities, the rooms were all great.

While we were there they carried on with the construction of some rooms even though it was a Sunday, so our time was interrupted by a lot of banging.

The people at Kidoti bay will make you feel at home and are really there for you. This is a place where you can truly relax and don’t need to do anything. The rooms are very private and shower is amazing. The staff tunes in to the guests exceptionally. They deserve a round of applause. The beach is home to a lot of marine life, even if there is no sand, it is an interesting place to visit at any tide. The deck is great and well equipped with furniture, in shade or sun. The pool is lovely. Breakfast and dinner are very nice.

There are limited dining/activity options in the direct environment of Kidoti, which for us was fine because Kidoti bay is all you need if relaxing is your mission. Just good to know when planning the rest of your trip.

Top 🤩 Nous avons pu compter sur la grande disponibilité du manager pour répondre à nos demandes et nous accompagner dans l’organisation de nos visites ( Mnemba, safari a Mikumi…). L’hôtel propose un cadre exceptionnel, dans une ambiance « chill »…. Les plus : les bungalows avec salle de bain ouverte, la piscine entourée de la terrasse en surplomb de la mer, où l’on peut savourer une cuisine raffinée. 👍👍

My stay in Kidoti bay was one of the best. Quiet and calm place. Perfect to relax, the food is perfect, the room is amazing, the place was everything I was looking for, for this trip. The staff was wonderful, very Thoughtful and caring. I spend a wonderful time and truly recommend this place for a relaxing experience in the north of Zanzibar
