Kidoti Bay

Hotellets ansatte var veldig hyggelige og alltid på tilbudssiden. Det var en rolig og chill atmosfære som er perfekt for noen avslappende dager. Er et avsidesliggende hotel uten støy eller mas fra eksterne hoteller/folk. Hotellet er nyoppusset med basseng i fint uteområde, rommene var fine. Maten var også veldig god.

Kunne ha satt pris på en kiosk i nærhet til hotellet, men det kan man også kjøpe med seg på forhånd. Wifi kunne vært bedre, den fungerer kun i restauranten.

“The access to the property is not very convenient, and taxis had trouble finding it because of the complicated location. We booked family rooms, which unfortunately had an unpleasant smell and faced the parking lot, making the location quite unattractive. We switched to double rooms, where they added a mattress on the floor for us. The double rooms themselves are charming, nicely designed, and the bathrooms are spacious. There is no beachfront, The food at the hotel’s restaurant was excellent - the chef’s wonderful dishes really impressed us. We usually prefer eating at local restaurants, but this time we were pleasantly surprised

We didn't like the location. We wanted somewhere not far from Ningoy and quiet but this location was not ideal at all as we don't enjoy staying in a hotel but spend the whole day walking. There was no beach at all

De bungalows zijn ruim en prachtig! Het ontbijt wordt à la carte gemaakt en is echt lekker. Het hotel is prachtig gelegen in een rustige, afgelegen omgeving, ideaal om helemaal tot rust te komen. Het zwembad is groot. De eigenaar is ook ongelooflijk vriendelijk en zorgt ervoor dat vervoer geen enkel probleem is. Agnes is ook heel vriendelijk en heeft mijn kindjes echt geëntertaind met muziek. Alles is schoon, comfortabel en met oog voor detail ingericht. Ze hadden voor ons ook een hele mooie tafel opgezet aan zee. Soms bleven wij hier gewoon chillen onder de zon of om te genieten van de mooie zonsondergang. Absoluut een aanrader voor iedereen die wil genieten van rust, natuur en een uitstekende service!

The most beautiful place we stayed in Zanzibar. The design of the place is natural, simple and authentic. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The staff was kind and helpful and the food was very tasty. The pool is really nice and beautiful. during low tide, easy to get into the water.

Nous sommes restés 4 nuits dans cet hotel. À première vue, lors de notre arrivée, l’hôtel est très beau, plutôt calme et on s’y sent très bien.

Malheureusement, plusieurs points négatifs viennent considérablement baisser la note. Premièrement, le personnel ainsi que l’espace restauration… La dame du bar, avec laquelle nous sommes le plus en contact, notamment pour la commande de la nourriture, boissons ou autre, n’est parfois pas très agréable… Nous avons l’impression de la déranger presque à chaque demande. Ceci étant dit, les autres membres du personnel sont très gentils et serviables. Pour la nourriture, c’est très bon on mange bien, mais l’attente est interminable, près d’une heure pour un plat de poulet et du riz, alors que nous étions les seuls dans l’hôtel.. Même si on sait que c’est pole pole à zanzibar, nous n’avons jamais eu d’attente comme ça dans d’autres hôtels de l’île. Concernant les chambres, elles sont très jolies, mais la nôtre ne garantissait pas d’avoir de l’eau chaude, et même de l’eau tout court… La pression de douche et de lavabo ne marchait qu’une fois par jour, nous étions obligé de demander à relancer la pompe d’eau systématiquement. De plus, après être revenu d’une excursion, personne n’est venu nous ouvrir le portail de l’hôtel et nous avons dû patienté plusieurs minutes, jusqu’à ouvrir nous même le portail, qui n’était donc pas fermé à clefs… Et enfin, pour couronner le tout, lors de notre checkout, nous devions payés l’ensemble de nos repas et boissons pendant notre séjour (méthode que l’hôtel nous as préconisé) Mais lors de l’addition, nous avons été très surpris du prix, les prix affichés sur les cartes ne correspondaient pas du tout au prix que nous devions payer. Heureusement, nous avions tout noter et une différence de 70$ était donc présente… Néanmoins, ils ont acceptés, après négociation, que l’on paye ce que nous avions vu sur les cartes. Un séjour mitigé, avec un beau cadre mais des commodités à revoir, surtout pour le prix global de l’hôtel. Mention spéciale à l’homme avec le maillot de Zanzibar qui a toujours été super top avec nous !

Mooie nette cottages, beetje zoals bali Goede ontvangst Eten was super lekker Kalm en rustig, zeker als je de kalmte opzoekt. Voor ons, een gezin van 2 kinderen, was het niet echt dat. Waren ook de enige gasten op 1 koppel na.

Lag volledig afgelegen. Winkeltjes (voor drinken en snacks op minstens 1-2 km). Eten is super lekker maar weinig. Op foto’s leek alsof er strand was, maar is er totaal niet. Je moet via trapje in de zee. Oude foto’s op booking leek op strand maar is aangelegd zand en nu is er een houten platform over gelegd. Eerst was me verteld dat taxi naar en terug nungwi 15 dollar ging zijn, moment dat we taxi wouden nemen was her opeens 30 dollar. Geen tv in kamer en enkel wifi aan de bar

Hôtel très bien agencé, avec beaucoup de verdure. Les chambres sont très belles et agréables. Le lit est très confortable. L'accueil était superbe. Le cuisinier est très bon.

Beautiful place. Friendly stuff. Espesically Romulus. The low tide offers great oppurtuinties for 'beach safaries' you can walk from the hotel.

There were infrastructure works, while we stayed, that influenced the water and electricity supply. Those works should be completed by the begining of August 25.
