S&S HOTEL

I stayed at S&S Hotel for 8, nights as a solo traveller and having now seen a number of other options in the local area, am very happy with my choice. Both early and late check.oytvwas accommodated for a reasonable fee, essential for me when arriving at 8.30am after a long trip overnight. I had a beautiful room overlooking the beach, waking up to this view every morning was breath taking. The rooms are modern, lovely four poster beds with the best mosquito nets I have ever come across, lovely bathroom and very good AC as well as ceiling fan. The bed was really comfortable and they also provide beach towels. Slavinia and Veronica are wonderful hosts and made me feel super welcome, their team of staff are super friendly too, as a solo traveller this was really important for me. The breakfast is great, excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice and I really enjoyed my avocado, tomato and egg on homemade bread every day. If you have the appetite you can also have homemade pastries, crepe and waffles also I liked the location of the hotel, the beach in front is great for swimming at high tide and I also enjoyed walking out to the sanbank at low tide. It's also very quiet and relaxed, about a ten minute walk away are a few beach side restaurants, scooby doo is very good for fresh sea food. I often walked up to Paje, about 6km along the beach, here is importantly the ATM and money exchange as well as numerous bars and restaurants. All in all I am sad to leave S&S and think as a new hotel this is a great addition to Jambiani and I wish them every success as they continue to establish themselves and go from strength to strength.

Beautiful hotel in a really peaceful area. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast (tasty and varied). Amazing views and beach!

The hotel is quite new and it still lacks a soul, which makes it feel a little cold. The rooms have huge windows with very beautiful views, but these cannot be opened. I missed a cozy balcony. There are no places to hang the towels (even in the shower), so our wet clothes, and towels from shower and swimming pool had to be hanging around the place. We asked for a hanger, but unfortunately they did not provide it. The restaurant for an evening dinner was not as good as others around. These are just tiny details to improve. It is a new built accommodation and it has a lot of potential to be a top destination in Jambiani, but everything goes slowly.

Absolutely everything! From the floor length windows, the four poster bed, the paintings on the wall, the music in the restaurant, the quality of food - everything was perfect and everything we could of wanted in our stay.

- they may could add some more sunshades - „music“ from the TV in the bar/restaurant area is in my opinion a bit annoying - but this is just my personal view :)

Absolutely amazing. Very clean rooms, clean food and friendly staff. This hotel is absolutely amazing. The reason why we have chosen to stay in this hotel, was because of the great reviews. Everything is brand new. Every day someone is coming to clean. The manager and the staff are very, very friendly. The food and the water to drink they offer is clean and filtered. Once you close the curtains, it’s really dark in the room. You can have a perfect sleep there. Air conditioning is working perfectly. The location of the hotel is kind of in a village. So there are not a lot of tourists, which is great. The hotel has security guards in front of the gate, at the reception and also on the property running back and forth, also at night time. At every moment, we always felt safe. You can relax at the property of the hotel and be in peace. You can also go down the stairs to the beach, but there you can have situation’s that people from there are talking to you they want to sell activities and sunglasses etc. The beach is maybe 10 seconds away from the property. Basically a step away. We spent our time at the property of the hotel with a beautiful view of the whole beach. This time we were downstairs. But next time we will book the rooms upstairs, so we have an even more amazing view and more privacy. The fresh mixed juices out of fruits every morning at breakfast were unbelievably delicious. And the coffee is strong and tasty. At the airport our luggage got lost. So the first couple of days we were without luggage at the hotel. The manager was so friendly, she gave some toiletries and offered some clothes to survive the first days without luggage. The sand at the beach is exactly how you would imagine sand in Zanzibar. It’s white and very very soft, like butter. At the website the pictures are beautiful from this hotel. But once you are there, in reality it’s even more beautiful. You will not be disappointed. You get exactly what you paid for.

Brand new hotel. Very very clean, staff is amazing and helpful. We stayed there 3 nights. Location is just breathtaking, just in front of the ocean. Everything was perfect !

Nothing, everything was good.

It was amazing honestly, the hotel is brand new and everything is spent on, the hotel owner is extremely helpful and the whole staff are great from security to housekeeping to waiters, food is perfect, location is great and everything you need for a vacation, definitely my go to again.
