GBWas on the shores of lake Victoria,a quiet area,staff were nice but led to believe by booking.com was 5 stars,no pool or amenities but perfect location
I expected more by booking.coms presentation saying 5 stars,seemed so cheap looking back for 5 star but just thought out of season maybe.would definitely go again
BEIt was indeed exceptional stay due to the location and magnificent view of the lake Victoria, I did not expect that. I was given probably the best room - with a grand bed and balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I specially wish to thank Ms. Phionah Tuhaise - excellent manager and such a nice and kind personality!
OK, internet during the entire stay was challenging, if I understood correctly due to the provider (at certain moments no internet at all). Also I think breakfast could improve - there were fruits and general supply of food but for boiled eggs I had to wait for 30 minutes or more (not sure what was the reason - perhaps the eggs had to be supplied / prepared specially for me?). However, people were very kind and did their best to reply to all my requests, so that was very touching.

FII was in four cities in this trip. I was three first night and last night at the Victoria Rock Resort in this my 2,5 weeks long journey. It was an excellent start for this journey as all in the staff (around 15 people) were smily, friendly and really helpful. It was easy to discuss with them also longer. Size of the basic room was good and it had an balcony with a view to the lake. Also there was well closet space to clothes etc. I am vegetarian (not vegan) and I had as a breakfast omelet, fruits and coffee. It was great that you had chance to have breakfast in a beach restaurant (40 meters from hotel's entrance) or in spacy inside restaurant. Location was good for me next to the beach and it was only 1,5 kilometers to biggest shopping mall. Trip to city center was only four euros by uber or two euros by boda-boda. I will stay here again if I do return to Entebbe.
There were no any real vegetarian choices on menu (only potatoes etc.).
