Monteverdi Tuscany

Nice property but not much to do. They boast having an expensive piano but could not afford a piano player ....so a nice decoration piece. Also very far from everything. Property is on state land so it is open to the public. Nice place to visit for a an hour but i would not stay there again.

We visited Monteverdi in mid October as the fall colors were peaking, and it was spectacular. The location and views were amazing, and the resort was incredible. The old restored stone buildings created the vintage Tuscany village feel. The staff was warm and welcoming and the dinners and breakfast were delicious. The suite we had was spacious, clean, a blend of old Tuscany style and modern amenities, and each window had a great view. We hope to be back some day for a longer stay.

This place is magical. You feel like family in an updated village town. The staff and guests were all so friendly. It is small and you really get to know everyone "on campus". The food is amazing. We didn't get a chance to take a cooking class but other guests raved about it. I would recommend getting a car as it is remote and you don't want to rely of hiring drivers to go check out wineries, restaurants and other history. We also did a bike tour that was fun.

Spent 3 nights in Tuscany at the most unique boutique resort and spa in all of Italy...Monteverdi. Travel back in time and experience quiet serenity. Monteverdi's amazing staff offer you pampering service from the moment you arrive and quickly feel like longtime friends. The restaurant and wine list is as spectacular as the sunsets and sunrises both provided by this hilltop retreat. Whether you are enjoying one of the myriad activities (from cooking classes to tours of the ancient century walled cities or award winning vineyards nearby) you will be taken by the architecture, history and beauty of Monteverde and surrounding area. We loved it!!!

If you want to experience a very special and surreal experience then spoil yourself to a visit to Monteverdi. It feels like you have travelled back in time. The beautiful views and the quaintness of the village is beyond special.
