Monteverdi Tuscany

This is one of the finest resorts we have ever experienced. The views are incredible and the staff is on top of every detail making our stay at Monteverdi perfecto! Many thanks to the team at the spa that made our couples massage something to remember. The easy access to nearby towns and wine tours was expertly handled by the staff so we did not have to worry about those details and logistics. We look forward to coming back.

Incredible elegance on the top of a mountain. Views are breathtaking. Detail to renovation and architecture cannot be described adequately. The staff are the best I have found worldwide. The meals are creative and so memorable as well as great guidance from the sommelier. Had a hard time leaving the property. Cannot wait to return

Remote and at the top of a hill

The property, staff and food were all so great I was compelled to write my first online review (which I shall keep brief). It’s perfect place to enjoy Tuscany and can’t imagine another property like it exists in Italy. You can tell the property is owned by an individual who loves Tuscany and wants guests to feel the same way. Thank you to everyone at Monteverdi Tuscany for a memorable experience.

This is honestly one of the loveliest hotels and indeed destinations we have ever been luck enough to visit. Although only at Monteverdi for 3 days, this place will stay in our hearts forever and has sparked a new love for everything Tuscan! It’s truly a magical place, not an ordinary hotel but more like being welcomed into a village filled with heart, family, history, landscapes and nature. Every touch is curated and considered, beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean, yet our whole experience felt effortless, almost dream like. Our room was faultless with a view so amazing it was like we were looking out at a painting. Every-time we opened the shutters we were in awe of the landscape. And our room felt like a part of that landscape, natural materials and colours with just the right amount of luxury. The bath was something else too!!! The restaurant food was perfection at every visit, excellent quality, plenty of variety, authentic, every ingredient with a farm to fork story. Made even better dining in a stunning hilltop location with great service. The most relaxing, beautiful spa we have ever experienced, plunge pools, botanicals, a grotto like pool and still with views from every window. The service is warm, faultless and truly 7 star. Nothing was hard work for us. We were so well looked after by a team who demonstrated so much pride and passion for their work and the ethos of the hotel and village. From presenting us with little homemade in room gifts at every turn down, to fresh flowers in our room. From excellent food and wine recommendations, to mixing us bespoke cocktails to our own personal taste in the bar. Everything was a joy to experience. We especially loved being amongst the unspoiled landscape, butterflies, bees and friendly insects galore. Scents of lavender and jasmine wafting in the breeze, the faint sound of harvesting tractors in the far distance, no traffic, few people and most importantly… peace! All enjoyed from every corner of the village, the delightful infinity pool, the flower gardens, the terrace bar, everywhere! Our main reason to visit the hotel was to relax and our stay at Monteverdi certainly delivered. This was achieved still when there is so much to do at the hotel. We chose wine tasting, olive oil tasting, the spa water circuit, the chef’s table and we were also lucky enough to attend a string quartet concert in the beautifully restored church. Every single experience was completely bespoke and magical and we have left feeling that Monteverdi has given us the best experience of Tuscany we could have hoped for - exceeding expectations on all counts. We can’t wait to return. Thank you to everyone at Monteverdi.
