Holmboe Apartment

The property was extremely clean and well kept. We arrived early, and left late, but were able to store our luggage while we continued touring Bergen. We had trouble with hot water however the host was so responsive. She eventually moved us to another apartment. Location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere!! I can't say enough good things about Christine and Kristen!! Would definitely recommend this property and host.

The location is perfect and the apartment is really nicely set up.

Two major problems which are not directly the owner’s fault, but really should have been mentioned. The building is under construction, and you cannot even see the street number. The front door is behind scaffolding and it looks like you’re going into an abandonned building. And… the building is in the middle of student housings, so the parties are endless and extremely loud even at 3AM. I HAD NO IDEA GIRLS COULD SCREAM, YELL, SING AND TALK THAT LOUD.

Very difficult to find as the building is in construction and we were not informed. Very noisy party ne t door until late at night. No air conditioning and could not open windows because of screaming young.

Quiet building, away from tourist crowds, near a nice park, nice colored walls, two double and one single rooms, quiet streets, hokken burger place

20 minutes walk to the harbor, thé master bedroom window is next to a street, loud pedestrians in the middle of Saturday night

Great location and on street level. Good value for the price. You have most everything you need inside the apt. Clean and comfortable. Great internet.

The biggest thing is that neighbours going to work early in the morning just let the building door slam shut instead of using the common courtesy of just shutting it. It’s very alarming when you’re asleep. I think this could be rectified if the owners tried. There’s no microwave or toaster but that’s not a deal breaker (good oven, fridge, kettle, coffee maker). It’s not a quiet place but we didn’t go to Bergen for any kind of sanctuary - we went to explore the city and it’s a perfect place for that!

Perfect for our group of grandparents, parents and grandson. Clean and comfortable and walking distance to center. Good communication. Good wifi.

Apartment is at street level so necessary to have blinds closed for privacy. A bit confusing to find as there was no number on the door.

The Apartment is very beautiful and close to the city center.

There were many teenagers partying close to the building, speaking loud around 01:30 am in the hall of the building and disturbing our sleep, because the room’s window was in front of this Hall.

The location of the place was close to the city center. The rooms were very clean and they had plenty of supplies available. The space and all the different rooms were great.

There could have been more details in finding the entrance to the building. I was not familiar with the layout of this situation.
