The property is self-made with lots of creativity and love for detail. Ana, the host and her family were always nearby and very helpful. The people and the village are so authentic. We loved to non-touristy vibe.

Absolutely stunning place. Very beautiful big and comfortable room with the biggest and best shower I ever had in Greece. Comfortable beds, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine.... Delicious breakfast and Anna was the nicest host you could have.

The location was too remote for us. If you like peace and solitude this is perfect.

Anna is a great host. Our breakfast was delicious and a good opportunity to chat with her and the other guests on experiences from the last day and tips for a trip. The family-like atmosphere made it great to relax and made us feel welcomed.

The location is amazing, in a quiet rural village within easy driving distance of lots of beautiful countryside and coastal beaches. The hotel itself is truly stunning. Anna and George have created a fabulous place - that js stylish and beautiful, and very comfortable. The underground spa is amazing, the rooftop terraces with views across the countryside are fabulous, and Anna and George are wonderful, wonderful hosts. We found the spa very relaxing and would recommend you try it. We enjoied Anna’s amazing breakfasts! Every day is a little different and she is a wonderful cook - it was a lovely, and delicious, way to start the days we spent at their beautiful place.

The breakfast was superb with a wonderful view of the town and Ana was super helpful and friendly.

WE could have been allocated a slightly larger split level room since there was no one else staying there.

By all criteria, an exceptional place. Ana and George are an example of exceptional hospitality and care for guests, in all matters. It is rare to meet such kind of host. Exceptional location with possibility for short trips. Every part of the rooms, studios and suites is expertly designed and adapted to the needs of the guests. Very tasty breakfast based on local food.

We don't have any complaints

Anna and George are fantastic. From the minute of the first contact to well past departure they care for their guests and are genuinely interested in your experience. The apartment we were staying in was "ENA" meaning "One" and it was spacious and well organised. Anna makes a fantastic breakfast and is a great cook! Her home recipe of eggs on tomatoes cooked in the little portion size pans was my son's favourite dish. She also provided rice puddings and cookies which are out of this world if you like sweets. I cant rave enough about the food as it was plenty and fantastic. George is a communication ace and will certainly also look after you. He not only organised our arrival well ahead of time but also was there every day for anything we needed. He is a pleasure to engage with. Things to do 1) We went hiking up the Kofina Peak Sanctuary. Excellent drive up into the mountain and then a multi hour hike up mountain passes to the peak. We did not manage to go all the way up as the railing stopped few meters before the peak and the drop is steep. 2) We walked up into the hills just up from the apartment and there is a round track which takes you post the chapel back into the village its about 45 min walk and we enjoyed doing it multiple times. 3) We went to ZEUS cave (Cave of Diktaion Andron) on the way back up to Heraklion and it was a good half day out. Food In the evenings we explored the local restaurants and bars. We ended up in "Agora" which is a 5min walk. Bit like a sports bar - no menu but a selection of small dishes was ordered and the food and company was fresh, plenty and really authentic. Try a few of the coffee shops they are plenty, all different and special and always have locals enjoying a good brew. Between Anna and George you will be super well looked after. They are good and honest people wanting to make your stay happy and convenient.

I can honestly not think of anything.

The airconditioner was very silent which was great because we could sleep very well and after all the bed sheets were very warm which made our stay very pleasant 🤗

This was - of all the places we stayed at on Crete - the most wonderful stay we had! Thank you Ana and thank you George! We immediately felt at home and appreciate the cozy atmosphere you created at your great apartments! The interior of the rooms and the very heartful details made us feel very welcome, and the incredible all-round breakfast that Ana puts so much love and care into really made our days! With great homemade Cretan bakery and a great variety of ingredients! All that with the stunning view over the Messara area! Amazing! Ana and George put lots of effort in creating this wonderful place with its original architecture and - where you do not expect it - a beautiful spa area to relax and enjoy after a day in the beautiful surroundings of Pyrgos and the mountains giving way to the beautiful ocean in the South. Thanks for your welcoming and inspiring gift! We will love to come back again!
