Sago Palm Hotel

The hotel appears to have been newly renovated. The deluxe king room with the kitchenette was great. The staff were kind, helpful and protective. The hotel entrance is secured by a large door that is monitored by security 24/7. Rooftop pool is small but the view was nice and there is a bar. Breakfast was tasty although the selection is limited.

The WiFi connection was extremely unstable and barely worked. When I asked the front desk about the service, I was told that sometimes it doesn’t work properly.

The room was nice and clean and well decorated. Didn’t like that there was no window in the room, makes it really stuffy. It was very noisy at night time with all the loud music made it difficult to sleep, it’s a shame really because the location is good and as I said the decor is really nice.

Facility was impeccable, room absolutely beautiful, staff was very friendly & helpful. Food menu was very limited, no local “niceties” offered like fresh fruit.

As a woman travelling alone, this hotel made me feel safe. the staff are so lovely, so welcoming and helpful & everyone helped to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms are of the highest quality & i felt like a Queen stretching out in the big bed. it was worth every penny & when i come back to Ocho i will definitely stay again. Food was excellent & the decor & ambience was 20/10. close to all the shops & beaches i was sad to have to leave xx

I loved the staff. From the female security guard that greeted me upon my arrival, the front desk staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping. Everyone was a pleasure. I loved my room and the pool being steps away. I have no complaints and will definitely return. Food and drinks were delicious as well.

The property was clean and inviting. The staff were polite and the security at the gate especially the female was very patient and kind to us. Overall we had a great stay.

Love the location and staff. There isn't an elevator but the flight of stairs isn't bad.
