La Torre del Kastelli

A beautifully renovated room, with a balcony and 6 windows to see the sea and mountains and ruins. Tastefully decorated with black and white photos, Nespresso machine, toothbrushes and tooth past, little cookies and a surprise pastry when we came home. Well-laid out room for suitcases and clothes, excellent shower and soap, conditioner and body lotion supplies, cheerful cleaning lady, warm host, excellent elevator to room 202, quite part of town, easy to walk everywhere, easy to drop off suitcases with car and then leaving car a few blocks away. A dream room in every way.Clean, modern, comfortable bed, lots of pillows, comfortable desk chair - someone with an eye for beauty, best stay ever.

Modern and new, well thought design

We had a great week in Chania celebrating spring and Easter. The location of the accommodation was perfect - quiet, close to the harbour and all must sees in Chania. It was clean and nicely renovated. We had the possibility to early check in and the room was cleaned every day.

Knockout beautiful 5 star in every way. Beautifully restored historic building. The third floor room I rented is designed to perfection. The patio is huge and comfortable . The bed is luxurious. The decor is fantastic, I especially loved the black and white photos. Not a spec of dust or dirt anywhere. Maria the owner is professional, kind and very well organized. Ellen the housekeeper is like a ray of sunshine. The location is smack dab in the center with just a 2 minute walk to the port.

Great location! Located in Old Town Chania and within walking distance to the Old Venetian Harbor, restaurants, cafes, etc. Our room was also clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job tidying every day. The staff were nice and responsive to our messages and needs. Reception helped book us a taxi on our last day.

The shower was poorly designed—it didn’t have a full wall or curtain to separate it from the rest of the bathroom, so the bathroom floor near the shower got flooded every time the shower was used. Very annoying. Our floor mat also was not replaced every day so we’d have to step on a sopping wet floor mat after every shower. We started running low on toiletries (i.e. body wash/shampoo) on our 2nd or 3rd day (the body wash and shampoo were 2-in-1), and assumed housekeeping would refill them like they refilled our coffee pods and like hotels normally do when they see you’re running low. However, they did not, so we had to message the hotel and request them. We weren’t able to receive them until the housekeeper cleaned the room the next day. I think this delay was also in part due to reception being present on site only from 10:30-2pm daily versus 24/7. However, they are available online by message or phone 24/7.

Awesome location, very quiet but super central in the Old Town. 2 min walk from the harbor. Beautiful penthouse terrace with west facing sunset views. Great finishes and very clean.
