La Torre del Kastelli

Although patience is required if you’re driving a car there are areas to park. A GPS will be a valuable tool to find the door. The staff are excellent at providing all of the information you’ll need otherwise. The rooms are beautifully appointed, showers are excellent and beds are perfect. The AC and ceiling fan are a blessing.

Though centrally located, the property is very quiet. The owners have done a great job refurbishing the property with attention to detail with modern touches while maintaining the local character. It is very clean and well maintained. Great comfortable beds.

While the terrace is a wonderful feature of the room and tastefully furnished, ideal for a quiet evening in, it would benefit from having some more comfortable functional furniture to sit on and maybe a small table for al fresco dining in. Also a proper rack to hang wet clothes/towels.

The location was excellent, for us, being very close to the Old Harbour in Chania, and also close to the Old Town and Splantzia, which is still a lovely and little spoiled area. The main beach at Nea Chora (very crowded) is a 20-minute walk.

As with all small hotels, there was not much storage space for clothes or for bathroom things - a small shelf in the bathroom would be really useful if any way could be found to fit one.

Amazing… location, room decor, owners, communication .. everything! Cannot recommend it enough. Constantly kept updated, easy check-in and check out and the property is in an immaculate condition. The location could not be any better.

Was extremely clean, and bed was super comfy, staff very kind a helpful , cleaners super good job location was super as just 5 mins walk from harbour in old town, locals all extremely kind & welcoming Nea Chora beach is easily walkable and clean, pretty with beds and parasols - which belong to restaurants on road above, they bring you food and beer etc, beds well priced too at £15euros a day for two with umbrella - they can do enough for you, let you use WC facilities etc, but don't hound you etc - nice people everywhere, from families with small children to older people enjoying life - we will be back to Chania

Feedback would be- needs a full length mirror in room, and more clothes hangers as space limited. Shame the outside space was roof covered as felt prison like, with the windows covered etc and bamboo screen which did slide back for sun etc

Loved everything about this little hotel! Very modern, very comfortable, super clean, very kind and responsive owners, who helped me with everything I needed (like providing a flat iron or communicating with the taxi driver upon my arrival). I had a small room but it was bright, comfortable, clean and I felt absolutely safe and at home. The location is absolutely perfect, quiet, but only 3 minutes from the old harbour and 3 minutes from my conference location, couldn't have been better.

Soundproofing of the house is a bit poor, but I guess that's hard to change and I really didn't mind because the other guests were also mindful of others.

The location of this place is just perfect, it is the old town but a minute away from all the busy tourist spots making it quiet and calm. The check-in was smooth, the rooms were well-spaced and supplied with everything you would need. Also very clean, and was very comfortable in general, would definitely stay again.
