Wir hatten die Unterkunft zweimal gebucht, einmal zur Anreise und dann noch mal zum Abreisetag (in der Zwischenzeit sind wir die Küste abgefahren). Wir haben in einem geräumigen Apartment gewohnt mit einem Wohnzimmer (Schlafcouch, TV, Sideboard), einem Schlafzimmer (bequemes Doppelbett, Regale, Schrank, Sideboard, großer Spiegel), einer modernen Küche mit Geschirrspüler und Sitzecke und einem Badezimmer mit Dusche. Jedes Zimmer hat ein Fenster. Wir waren im März 2026 vor Ort und obwohl das Wetter noch recht kühl war, war die Temperatur in der Wohnung angenehm. Der Checkin und Checkout war super einfach und selbstständig durchführbar. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber.

Die Wohnung war etwas hellhörig, so dass man die Leute, die nachts ein- und ausgegangen sind, im Treppenhaus deutlich gehört hat - es war aber nicht dramatisch. Das Wasser in Reykjavik ist leider sehr Sulfat- lastig, so dass es aus Wasserhahn und Dusche nicht besonders gut roch. Allerdings zieht sich dieser Geruch durch die gesamte Stadt.

It was very central

The apartment was in the basement with the windows at street level wich made so that we heard the cars very loudly while we were trying to sleep. Also, the walls are very thin and other people were constantly banging doors. In terms of cleanliness... I'm just gonna say the floors had trash from the previous guests and that made us doubtful about everything else...

Location is excellent- very easy walking distance to all.key places in central 101 district. Very comfortable bed. Nice gesture to have several espresso/coffee pods provided as welcome. Owner gave helpful instructions re parking in this area- much appreciated.

Had to contact owner to get towels.... so didnt get off to best start. I took down an extra duvet from cupboard- and as putting cover on, saw just how stained it was. Gave me an ick feeling. The kitchen facilties are are pretty poor. There were two tiny espresso cups (no mugs), limited cutlery and pans. It wouldn't take much for the owners to add these things.

Great central location in easy walking distance to the city centre. Warm apartment, easy access, quick response from hosts to messages. Free parking is nearby as per description from host.

Kitchen isn't well equipped, no can opener, only 2 bowls. Located in P1 zone but aware of this at the time of booking.
