Buubble Hotel-Ölvisholt

We were so excited for our trip to Iceland and the bubble hotel-we booked all of our hotels the same exact way, through hotels.com we had 6 hotels booked. Unfortunately, my husband got Covid and we couldn’t A. Because my husband had symptoms that would make it uncomfortable for him to fly and B.we followed the CDC guidelines which instructs us not to fly if positive. We were sad to have to cancel our trip. The only two hotels that wouldn’t give us a full refund were The Bubble hotel and Hotel Kria. When we rebook we won’t be visiting those two hotels. I also feel hotels.com could have helped in this situation.

Excellent night to visit. Sky was clear. Laying in bed watching the stars. Great experience. Saw a shooting star and an excellent display of the northern lights. Absolutely gorgeous

Geweldige ervaring! Wij hadden een prachtige hemel heel de nacht lang met oneindig veel sterren. Toilet heel vlot bereikbaar en 2 min naar de douchecabine. Privacy is top! Zonder veel in detail te treden hebben wij misschien wel de mooiste nacht van ons leven beleefd hier!

Special! Amazing! It was just as described! Be prepared to walk up a distance on the beautiful path. I would plan to pack a small bag with personal items if traveling with suitcases. The showers and restroom area (shared) were so clean and pleasant.

Es war eine super Erfahrung. Die Duschen müssten optimiert werden, der Abfluss ist schlecht.

Bubbles were not as private as I would expect. There are 60 steps up to the bubbles and I saw an older couple struggling to get to their bubble. That should be disclosed for disabled people. There was a limited view out of our bubble due to tree branches. Fun for a night but probably would not do again.

This property was so unique and special! I stayed here with my 15 year old and it was so quiet, peaceful and different from the other hotels we stayed at during our visit to Iceland. The bed was very comfortable and the bubble so cool. We even had less than ideal weather with rain and fog but it was absolutely worth it. We brought our own food and drinks.

Great stay. The rooms were as shown in the pictures. Had a great time
