4-Bed House in Wetherby sleeps 8 near York

The location was perfect: the space available in the house was ideal for our family; the parking was adequate; big fridge; quiet location and lovely views.

The tiled lounge took a long time to heat up

Lovely spacious property with all the facilities you need. Very private and great access by car to surrounding areas of interest.

All good. No negatives but you do need a car.

The ability to have space for the amount of people that we took. The area. The closeness to the Emmerdale tour for my mums birthday. Pictoreque area and the garden with the wildlife.

The loose tap in the kitchen. The cold floors throughout downstairs made it very cold to walk round on your feet with no slippers. There are not enough plugs in the bedrooms close to mirrors in order to see when drying hair etc. The water pressure in the showers change when you flush a loo or use the dishwasher. Better instructions on the use for the TV and signal was terrible for live TV. Also better instructions needed for the heating as house was cold when timing of heating was off.

This property is exceptionally appointed with beautiful views of the surrounding area. It is easily accessible from the A1 and has local attractions close by.

Everything was so clean welcoming and comfortable.

Beautiful house, very picturesque in a pretty area of Yorkshire. This spacious property comfortably fit our family group of 8. Lovely touch that there was a Christmas tree! Nice and warm, very comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen and lovely living room. Close to shops (need a car)

Smallest bedroom is really only for one person but we only stayed for 2 nights so was not a big issue for us. Would have been nice to have a washing machine and some shower/bath toiletries.

Overall a beautiful house, easy to find the key to enter. Excellent luxurious decoration and classy furnishings throughout, so much space, very nice layout. We are a family of 5 adults and everyone said the beds were very comfortable. Quality hand soap provided throughout (not watered down as in some places) - a nice touch. Well equipped huge kitchen. Showers both excellent. Lovely peaceful surroundings with different levels of garden, many trees and nature. Replies to questions we asked beforehand received quickly, we enjoyed our 2 day stay, we were up for a wedding at Harewood House estate.

We would just suggest the owners turn on the c/h 1 day before; once heated it was lovely and warm! We asked to light the wood burning fire place as it was so cold on arrival, a temp portable heater wd have helped but the owners didn't have one. We found dry wood outside, they brought us fire starters (and a fire extinguisher) Suggest a hand towel be provided for the dstrs WC - luckily we had brought a couple of our own small towels. Smallest bedroom: suggest a storage cupboard could be built in, and a table with bedside lamp as per the other rooms.
