"A lovely week stay."

The breakfast was fantastic and the chef amazing. You order off of a menu. Nice vegetarian options. Fransisco and julia were the best server. They were especially attentive to our needs. And the night front desk was so helpful. We made it to the hotel past midnight and took the time to settle us in. The decor was stunning and lots of places to lounge.

The bugs were annoying biting me indoors and outdoors. One night the patio music was loud but the receptionist took care of it right away. We didn’t use the hotel driver to panajachel because they kept increasing the price even after we confirmed. Each receptionist came back with a different price.

"Good trip to Antigua. But boy has it changed!"

Hotel and nice old house a little far from the center of town. Some of the rooms are on a major street and the chicken buses and trucks roll by early in the morning starting around 4:30 AM. Our room came with breakfast and the breakfast was really good. The staff was very friendly.

We didn't like the noise from the trucks and busses, but I don't think there's any place in Antigua these days that doesn't have this kind of noise. It's not like it used to be. There's a lot of traffic motorcycles, buses, cars, tuk-tuk, etc. It takes away from the colonial atmosphere and the pollution is visible when you try to look at the volcano. I wish they would close the streets to traffic.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel decor was a bit old and tired. Facilities were clean but there was no houskeping for 4 days. Not a problem for me but it may be for others.

What a beautiful property, the accommodations were great, it felt like I was staying at a friend’s house. Walking distance to the arch and the square. Very friendly staff. There is a restaurant in site.
