Hotel Flora

The proximity with mosque. The call for prayer is extremely loud and wake us up at 5.00 am!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Particularly the lady at the counter and the hotel attendants. They provided full support providing drinking water , cleaning the room and utensils. The room is bit small , which is typical for Male, however ok for short stay. The location is convenient and walking distance to all amenities and attractions. The food of the restaurant is good. The price is very economic compared to the hotel prices in Maldives.

The shower does not have a glass separator so while taking taking a shower the bathroom floor gets wet, so there is a risk of slipping on the wet floor in the dark. The switch to turn of the light for the bathroom is inside the bathroom which should have been outside. None of the charger point fits the phone charger, though the hotel provided attachments.

The staff were super lovely & accomodating. They go above & beyond to make sure you are comfortable and looked after. The room is very nice & clean.

Location was central enough. Room with balcony was OK. Reasonably clean.

Rooms were musty, paint job poor. Room without balcony was suffocating. Whole Male city was flooded when we arrive.
