Tunis is a great surprise to me, beautiful city , underrated destination, the hotel is in a nice location near Medina and centre of old town, staff are quite cordial, but they didn't accept credit card, asked for cash payment only, breakfast is not much choice, there is no elevator and one has to climb the steps, WiFi is fast and functional, most of the shops, eateries and important places like Medina market are nearby, good for short stay.

the good: - friendly staff - great location, a short walk from the french gate and medina - good wifi - stores nearby for water and snacks - restaurants close by, we tried one on the main street, not good! the bad: - very old hotel, needs upgrade to be worthy of the price

Stayed here for 4 nights. Good location, Amazing breakfast, and spacious room. It was okay for budget accom as we paid $45 a night (which still seems a bit steep) for what we got. Room was clean, furnishings are dated (but it didn't bother us). We are a family of backpackers so we can tolerate most things. However, whenever we took a shower, the bathtub had a leak and would flood the washroom floor. We never had enough towels to wipe it up so our feet was always wet. This was the only room available. Would have given it more stars if it were not for the leaky bathtub. Hotel is in the backway of the main street so there is not a lot of street noise. We chose this place mostly because of the location. It was close to eateries, shops and accessible to walk up and down the main street. Breakfast was abundant, lots of sweet stuff but I can't complain. Still tasty once in awhile. They are happy to store luggage when we had a later flight. Thanks.

I stayed for 3 nights and have to say that the location is great, a 10 minute walk from the railway station and 5 minutes from a couple of bars. A big shopping street is just around the corner. The room had a very comfortable bed, constant hot water and a TV. The reception staff were very friendly and spoke good English. There was no noise from the street or other guests so I had a good rest each night. As it was winter, blankets are provided and were needed. In the morning a very nice breakfast is served in the dining room, enough to set you up for the day. The kitchen also doubles up as a store room, and guests are permitted to leave their baggage there after checking out so I was able to continue exploring the city before a late flight.

We spent 6 nights here and all was great. It is 1-minute walk from the medina and 1-minute walk from the Habib Bourgiba avenue. Restaurants, grocery stores and markets are around. It is a perfect place to explore the greater Tunis area. Clean (and cleaned meticulously daily), safe and with comfortable beds. The breakfast was good, even though the same everyday. However, when asked, they were flexible e.g. in providing more cheese etc. Would stay here again.

Perfect location right next to the Medina and the main boulevard. Don´t expect anything fancy for this low price though, but I found it totally OK for a couple of nights. Wifi was very slow sometimes.

Booked hotel for my sister in law and her husband who were visiting Tunis for medical treatment.Didn't realise there was no lift. Spoke to Nawres, manager who arranged 1st floor room for them.It was too difficult for the wheelchair despite the staff helping to carry it up the stairs.The staff went out of their way to help my family. They refunded them the money they had paid to allow them to find alternative accommodation.We were so happy with this solution.Thank you very much to all staff, especially Nawres.

Very central, a street behind burgheisa avenue. 5 dinars taxi from airport (2 €). My room 206 with 3 beds only for me, a / c, hot water, tv, almost perfect for this price: € 20. Highly recommended. Staff speaks french, english and arab.
