Hôtel Métropole Résidence

The hotel is ideally located in the center of Tunis and it is within walking distance of the old medina and bab al bahr and walking distance to the tram that takes to Bardo museum and Carthage- Sidi bou Said- La Marsa. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. It is also within walking distance of the Cathedral and Zitouna Mosque, so there is a lot to see while staying at the hotel and it is easy to get to other places in Tunis from here using public transport. I was in room 102 which was very spacious and immaculately clean. The room was cleaned daily and shampoo and soap are provided. The breakfast is satisfying with a boiled egg, juice, coffee, two slices of cake, baguette bread, jam, cheese, labneh and other plates that can be eaten with bread. I never felt hungry after having breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful and smiling. Prices are suitable and cheaper than the majority of nearby hotels in the center of the city. I will definitely stay here during my next visit to Tunisia.

Nice and clean hotel. Modern and comfortable rooms very colorful. Well located. Lovely staff. Delicious and big breakfast. Excelent prices and payment facilities. It's got some stairs at the entrance but you can get help carrying your luggage if necessary.

Correct address is rue Souk Ahras. Unpretentious hotel in back street but very central. Good in all respects - helpful staff, clean comfortable room, modern TV, good wifi in room, good breakfast. Recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and we were comfortable. Centrally located to see Tunis, and easy walking distance to tram and train station. Good English speaking front desk, and good maid service. Overall, no complaints.

It is a clean, decent place to stay. Very well located, close to everything. Rooms are basic. Common premises do not exist. It's more a residence than a real hotel. Just fine because of the good price.

This is the second time I reserve in this hotel, which is confortable, large room, with heating and cooling systems. TV HD LED with HDMI that you can use it if you like. Excellent smiling personal staff, very appreciated. The wifi was low but they adjasted it at the end of my residence. Many thanks to the excellent staff.

A great place with nice Staff. They have wifi and breakfast, the rooms are nice but don't expect anything like the big resorts, this place is great because of it's location. If you arrive by car get ready for a buch of Stress, the Hotel Has no Parking of it's own, if you want a Spot the Staff will organise someone to get you a public Spot close by, but still in those narrow Streets its really stressful to drive, so Avid going there with your car.

A last minute deal got me a cheaper rate (please always check with hotel directly before booking through the online platforms, The hotel is very close to le medina (3 minutes walking distance) and located exactly in the heart of the city, Walking distance to the metro. The receptionist are very friendly and useful in giving info for my solo exploration. A very minimal breakfast is served.

An excellent place . Very close to Tunis main and beautiful avenue and the old traditional market. The hotel is led by a young ,helpful team. Whatever you need as tourist or businessman is around this hotel. Enjoy your stay!!

Very good location. Only three minutes to Medina, or Avenue Habib Bourguiba, or Central Market and eight minutes to Tunis Ville railwaystation. All three staff members spoke good english and were very friendly and helpful. They even served an early breakfast for me on my departure day when I had to leave very early to the airport - although I haven't asked for it. If you're looking for a 5 star luxury hotel this isn't the place for you, but it's a new and clean hotel in perfcet location. Room was spacious and had four english TV channels. Highly recommended!
