Great overall experience. This will be my stay whenever traveling to El Congrejo!

Everything was going good until we went to the casino bar girsl didn't understand English and was very dismissive July 18th after 5:30pm. I feel at least one person on a shift should be able to understand and speak English. Environment was safe ,hotel rooms nice . Housekeeping when cleaning the rooms throw out the trash ,add wash clothes at every cleaning. If it's double occupancy have at least four sets of towels. Shower felt slimy due tto not being cleaned or properly.

the staff was good, the area was good. But I would NOT recommend staying here! All of the rooms absolutely radiate mildew and mold smell. I had to switch from the first room, and my throat hurt the whole time! Would not recommend!!

I was assigned a big, beautiful room, an upgrade apparently, I didn't ask for. The air conditioning however was not functioning in a climate of 32 degrees C with 85%+ humidity. Took 3 technicians and 36 hours to feel a little bit of a difference. I was assigned to a room that's interconnected with a door to another room. I wasn't asked if I am OK with it. The neighbor was noisy and intimading, knocking on the door and trying to open it. Had to call security. The mini fridge in the room was as non-operational as the air conditioning. The hotel was crowded and at breakfast time staff could hardly manage the flow. Pool was at full capacity, decided not even enter. I didn't enjoy my stay and would not book here in the future. Many years ago, I had much WAY MORE quality experience with the old Veneto brand.

The property itself was nice, but I just had a few things that annoyed me. As soon as we got there, the television wasn't working. They got someone up there to check it, but he left saying he would return. He never did. The next day I stopped at the desk on my way out and told them. When I returned, still not fixed. After two more calls, someone finally came to fix it. The other item is having to call the front desk fir toilet oaper af
