What a fantastic stay we’ve had at Funplace Beach! After a very warm welcome at the Maldives as 1.8 millionth tourist, they surprised us even more with their hospitality and kindness. Our room was perfect: modern, very well equiped, large and clean. Thank you Hafis, Abby, Aushan and all others for making our stay at Himmafushi unforgettable!

The breakfast is excellent. Bikini beach near the hotel We even had beach towels and bathrobes in the room The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Special greetings and thanks to Hussain at the restaurant as well as Abba at the reception Various excursions and transfers are offered. We are very satisfied with our stay at the hotel The hotel has a small spa. The girls who work there are real professionals, and we also received a complimentary foot massage from the hotel

The Himmafushi island is under development - trash is a huge problem ,but the people are gentle and kind and is very close to Male and other resorts.

Fun place beach, it’s a newly open and the best hotel in himmafushi we have ever stayed. We had a wonderful stay. Stepping through the lobby, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious. very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us and ready to help. And manager is always available and very attentive. The breakfasts were amazing. And you can also order from their à la carte menu at any time of the day. The location of the hotel is great and it’s very near to the beach it’s just 2 min walking distance from the hotel. You will get to experience the local life and they have separate bikini beach. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view and it’s super clean. You can get environmental friendly battery cycles, bicycles in hotel which makes everything very much easier to look around the island. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to all the tourists. Especially surfers. We Will be back to this place soon.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. This is our 3rd visit to this Island and so far this is the best hotel we have stayed. We arrived early to hotel at like 10:30am but they check- in us to our room. Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. This hotel is beautiful and The rooms were very clean, very comfortable and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the breakfast. And the manager arranged everything as we requested he was very helpful. We went to sunset cruise , surfing , water sports, Fishing and live BBQ for dinner was great. This hotel is very near to the beach so you can go for a beach walk at anytime you want and locals are very friendly and welcoming. Next time we will surely come to stay longer. We will recommend to all our colleagues and friends. Thankyou!!

Everything is great

Don´t go to this place! Before arrival I asked if I can have a quiet room and they said Yes. But none of the rooms is quiet as their direct neigbourhouse is a poor local house where people play loud arabic music and disco music all day and night. They say they know it, but cannot do anything about it. I attach picture so you can see how close the neighbour is and this house is open and disturbs all rooms.

They offered me another family room one level up but it cost more then double price and is also not quiet. I didn´t want to stay here but they forced me to pay the 2 nights I booked in advance. This is coercion! If you come to this island you cannot leave without a boat so you depend on the Hotel. The island is ugly and dirty. All restaurants on the beach were closed, almost no turists. The place is abandoned for a reason… The water is yellow and smells terrible. They say it´s sulfur on the hole island but on other islands I had clean water. Many aggressive Moskitos day and night. When I left the room for 2 hours, I left my balcony open on purpose to ventilate because the room smells like construction and you cannot breathe with closed windows. I don´t use airconditioning at all but I need fresh air. When I came home they had gone into my room to close the balcony! I cant believe it. They force you to close the balcony against your decision and say it´s because of the moskitos. Then they call me to tell me breakfast is only from 7 - 9 AM this is too short. The lights in the room are very white and you dont feel a comfortable ambience. At 21:30 I couldn´t sleep because of the neigbours music and went to the reception but only the young guy that speaks no english was there and said the manager is sleeping. I screemed at him because I was desperate and they don´t speak english. Then the owner came and moved me to a Family room 2 levels up. All other rooms to the other side have NO windows. Impossible to breathe inside. So he gave me the Family room that costs 260 $ normally. This is the only acceptable room in the whole Hotel but for this price you better go somewhere else. I had cockroaches and ants in the bed. It´s not acceptable. Its a very lost place! It´s a Prison Island as they have a big Jail here. Stay away! I payed 200 $ because they didn´t want to cancel my booking. I left on the next boat option in the morning and lost my money. They also didn´t care about

I liked everything, everything was new, super clean and had a very attentive, kind and helpful staff.

The Staff. Very friendly and very helpful. Abby and Tony were great as well as the other staff. They would take us out to surf on the buggy when required. The hotel is new so everything was nice.
