Seaside Dhigurah

Entering hotel Seaside I was immediately impressed by the beauty of the outdoor foyer of the hotel. It was full of beautiful plants, among them a banana tree(which you cannot see in Germany) and at night fairy lights shone on the plants which reminded me of the shining plankton of the ocean. Our Hotelroom was very spacious and clean.Our Bed was spacious and comfortable. The outdoor shower was the absolute highlight for me, especially at night under the stars . Don`t worry the outdoor shower is so high and covered that no one can watch you taking your shower. The employees of the hotel were very helpful, nice and courteous at any time. I liked that the team had a cheerful and happy charisma which influenced us positively. On the day of our checkout the boss even accompanied us to the harbor. I will not forget my first jump into the ocean and my first turtle snorkeling tour which the guys enabled to me and my husband. On the speedboat the guys offered us drinks and snacks. No wishes remained unfullfied. Thank you very much to the team of Seaside that you enabled unforgetable happy moments of the isle of Dhigurah to us! Stay the way you are! Best regards! Tham&Qui

This hotel was the best choice during our trip to Dhigurah and possibly Maldives. Everything from the room, the staff, the comfort and especially the Food was simply marvellous. We felt so looked after. The excursions offered by the hotel are a must. They are such good value for money. The hotel feels so homely and private. I can't describe in words how we felt from the moment we were greeted by the staff at the harbour to the moment we took the speedboat back to Male. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel and DHIGURAH for your local island choice. Also you have to try cuttlefish for your starters.

The welcome when we arrived was outstanding. Relaxing with a drink while checking in and lots of excellent useful info. Very professional. Although close together the rooms feel very private due to all the beautiful green plants. Lovely terrace to relax on. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The bathroom and outside shower is outstanding with toiletries provided. They have thought of everything you may need right down to mossie slray. We booked half board and I highly recommend this option. Variety of choices for breakfast and dinner.

They do offer bicycles which is definitely needed to get around and to the best beaches, unfortunately all of them are unusable, however they did advise they are getting new bikes mid Nov 24.

I loved the actual facilities at the guesthouse - everything was very modern and new - the leadership team at the guesthouse was dynamic and attentive to guest needs. I appreciated their willingness to acvospecial requests. The accommodation was very clean and had thoughtful details. Breakfast was good and I liked the availability of drinking water and the bikes which made life om the island much easier. The bed was very comfortable and the air con efficient and quiet. I also appreciated that the guide from the guesthouse helped me get the most out of the whaleshark snorkeling tour by taking my hand and making sure I didn't get lost and saw the whaleshark.

In the Maldives or at least in Dhigurah you are solely dependent on your guesthouse for the tours and activities that brought you there in the first place. On one of the snorkeling tours I realized that I paid a bit more than other participants from other guesthouses- I thought that was not really warranted as everyone was on literally the same boat. Also I was not impressed with the animal welfare standards for whalesharks in general - way too many boats chasing one individual. It would be easy to at least raise the awareness of tour participants about the biology of these gentle giants and how to respect them in the water. Although I pointed out that I would like to learn about the animals we targeted at out snorkeling trips, the next manta snorkel even had less information - all we got was - jump in and don't touch, but no info on the actual species, behavior or safety measures. These things are easily mitigated to make tourists fully appreciate the natural treasures the Maledives have. I also would like to see a bigger commitment to reducing plastic waste - as much as I liked having bottles water available, it would be great to have a filter at the property to provide free safe drinking water but reduce the plastic burden. I'm still giving a 10 as the actual accommodation was awesome, but the tours could be improved.

Everything was more than perfect! We couldn't have chosen a better place. The hotel is incredibly beautiful, the room is super comfortable (especially the bed) and has everything needed, and the breakfast is delicious. But especially, the staff is lovely; they help you in every way possible always with a smile and make you feel at home. It's a very relaxing atmosphere with silence and background music. We are really happy to have chosen them and would repeat with no doubt. A million thanks again for everything!!

Stunning room, clean with all the facilities you need (even Netflix!). Staff was really nice and kind and food was amazing. They offer bikes so you can easily get to the bikini beach. Highly recommended!

the room was beautiful and very nicely decorated. the staff were exceptional and gave us a very personal experience during our stay. the hotel, despite being on a local island, emulates a luxury resort stay with how professional and attentive the staff were.

We had the pleasure of spending six nights at Seaside in Dhigurah and it was simply outstanding! From the very beginning we were warmly welcomed and the hospitality of the whole team immediately made us feel at home. Location and surroundings: The hotel is located on the beautiful island of Dhigurah, which delighted us with its white sandy beaches and turquoise-coloured water. The surroundings are quiet and perfect for switching off and relaxing. Especially worth mentioning is the proximity to the reef - a paradise for snorkelling and diving enthusiasts! We saw stunning marine life, including manta rays and whale sharks, which made our stay unforgettable. Accommodation: Our accommodation was modern, very clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a large, comfortable bed and a great view of the garden. The daily cleaning was excellent and we felt completely at ease throughout our stay. Food: The food was another highlight. Fresh, local ingredients were used every day and there was a good mix of Maldivian specialities and international dishes. Breakfast in particular was plentiful and offered something for every taste. Dinner was also varied and of excellent quality. Excursions: The excursions on offer were an absolute highlight of our stay. The hotel organises a variety of tours and we had some unforgettable experiences. The manta ray excursion was incredibly impressive and it was fascinating to watch these majestic creatures in the water. Unfortunately, we were unable to see a whale shark. We'll make up for that :) Snorkelling with nurse sharks was particularly exciting. It was an incredible feeling to swim so close to these fascinating creatures and definitely an experience we will remember for a long time! The hotel also offers fishing and sandbank excursions where you can enjoy the beauty of nature in absolute tranquillity. Every excursion was well organised and the guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They gave us great insights into the wildlife and made sure we always felt safe and comfortable. Service: The service was first class. The staff were always friendly, courteous and always endeavoured to fulfil our wishes. Whether we had questions about the island or wanted to organise excursions, we were always helped with a smile. Conclusion: Our stay at Seaside Dhigurah was perfect all round. The combination of the fantastic location, the comfortable accommodation, the excellent food and the warm service make this hotel a real gem. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend it!
