Seaside Dhigurah

Excellent location close to the island’s port, with well landscaped garden being the centrepiece of the hotel which also provides privacy as well as a sense of calm looking out the window. The rooms were well decorated and the outdoor shower feature was also remarkable. The restaurant at the hotel run by the two Sri Lankan chefs provided delicious food.

Everything was perfect, I have no words to describe the island, the stay, the staff, the nights they organized. everyone was great, I recommend it 10000% Finally, the island has many things to do, you will never get bored

My husband and I spent 8 wonderful days at Seaside Dhigurah. For me it was already the third time on a local island but so far no stay has been as special as this one. The rooms are very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The outdoor shower was also very special. We loved the terrace, there was enough seating and due to the greenery it was private. However, the best thing about our accommodation was Riswan and the staff. Riswan was always available and could fulfill every wish. Bicycles and snorkeling equipment were provided free of charge by the property. The rental of a bicycle is otherwise about 5 dollars per day. The food was also amazing, we could order a la cart for breakfast and dinner. The food was always very delicious, a big thank you and praise to the cooks and the service of the waiters. We were even prepared a lunch box with fresh fruit, breakfast of our choice, water and juice. Many thanks to Riswan and the staff for our wonderful stay at the Maldives.

We stayed at Seaside Dhigurah for 7 nights and had a great break. Although the 6 chalets are side by side, they are amid the tropical garden, and you get a real sense of privacy. The rooms are well provisioned, including a refrigerator and Netflix on the TV. The open-air shower is a nice touch and a great way to check the days weather. One niggle though is that the hot water takes a long-time to reach the shower, no problem if you like a tepid shower in the morning. There is enough choice on the breakfast for most people and the fresh fruit plate is really good. One area that could be improved is getting coffee, on most occasions we had finished our breakfast before the coffee arrived. I think having a self-service, filter coffee, would speed things up. Seaside provides free mask and snorkel to use and bikes to get around the island. Yaeesh and his team are extremely helpful and will help resolve any problem/query you have, including arranging a scooter for us to visit the sand bank as my wife struggled cycling. We didn’t book any trips but by example, a whale shark trip will cost you $180/£143, per couple. Finally, some tips, most people want to visit the sandbank, it’s a long walk and/or bike ride, and its isolated so you need to make sure you’re self-sufficient and have enough water, sunscreen, repellent etc. Yaeesh can organise a ‘taxi’ for you if you don’t fancy the walk/ride. Most of the other hotels and restaurants are at the other end of town and we really liked the Malaveli restaurant. If you need to change money, the corner shop offers a decent rate, and the Beach View café is good for a coffee and slice of butter/chocolate cake.

A Wonderful Stay in Paradise! I had an unforgettable experience at this hotel! The rooms are impeccably clean and incredibly spacious, offering all the comforts one could ask for. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, ensuring a restful night every single day. One of my favorite features was the beautiful terrace overlooking a lush, serene garden — the perfect spot to relax. I especially appreciated the convenient socket on the terrace, which made charging devices outdoors so easy. The bathroom is spacious and fully equipped with all necessary amenities, and the outdoor shower was simply amazing — a refreshing and luxurious touch to the overall experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always trying to ensure my stay was perfect. I also loved the delicious food, especially the authentic and tasty Maldivian breakfast — a true culinary delight! The hotel offers well-organized tours and excursions, which made exploring the area seamless and enjoyable. The Smart TV with YouTube and Netflix access added an extra level of convenience. Finally, it’s the attention to detail that makes this hotel exceptional — beach towels, even beach bag, snorkeling equipment, free bikes and so much more are thoughtfully provided to make your stay effortless and memorable. If you’re looking for a combination of comfort, thoughtful service, and a stunning atmosphere, this hotel is the perfect choice!

Beautiful place and great service. Food is great. Walkable to sand bar. Otherwise take taxi. The hotel can arrange for this. Affordable fishing activity.

We loved our stay here! We were picked up and dropped off to the speedboat even though it was only a 3 min walk. Our room was beautifully decorated for our honeymoon when we came, the staff were amazing! There were free bikes included in our stay which was very useful to get around to the island and bikini beach. The staff also organised our day trips which were perfect. Breakfast was also great! The rooms are spacious and clean.

We really loved the room and how friendly the staff was. We also booked activities via the hotel and it was amazing that this included under sea pictures and videos, great memories we'll have forever :) We also loved the fact we could borrow bicycles!

Breakfast wise, we wish there was a better understanding of what 'vegan' means from some of the staff and better variety of vegan options
