The North East blizzard stranded us in San Juan so we booked two more nights at Hilton Garden Inn. Nice pool area and grounds next to the small bay. The suite room was nice and the hotel clean and fresh. We had a road side room so it was noisy until 10pm. Breakfast buffet is $27 per person at the hotel and there is a Starbucks across the street . We both had breakfast and coffee for less than the cost of one person buffet. Hilton Staff are friendly and helpful. You also have access then at the other Hilton across the street on the ocean. We had dinner at the Waikiki restaurant to the right of the hotel. Seafood meets Latino fare, reasonable priced Bar and Grill

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The overall experience was great, especially thanks to the outstanding service from the waitstaff. They were attentive, friendly, and truly made a difference in our visit. Heidy and Manuel Nieves went above and beyond with their service, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay.

I couldn’t stay longer

The room was not fully cleaned upon arrival. I requested that it be properly cleaned the following day; however, the service was still not completed. I asked to speak with management on two separate occasions and never received a return call. I escalated the issue to Hilton’s customer service, and management later responded with inaccurate information, stating that they had offered a room change, which did not occur. Instead, I was offered by the same management half of one day’s resort fee — $38 — despite paying $414 per night for the room. Given the circumstances, this offer felt dismissive and wholly inadequate considering the nightly rate and the unresolved cleanliness concerns. This was only a two-night stay, and it could have been a great experience had management simply contacted me and made a genuine effort to resolve the issue. I strongly recommend that guests carefully inspect their room before accepting it. Be sure to document any issues and take photos immediately to avoid disputes later.

This is our first time staying at the Hilton Garden Inn San Juan Condado, and unfortunately it has been very disappointing. The room feels dingy and has a strong chemical odor, similar to Fabuloso. The rugs on both sides of the king-size bed are truly filthy and unacceptable. Overall, the entire building looks worn out and poorly maintained. This stay did not meet the standards we expect from a Hilton property.
