The Place at the Sea

We enjoyed three days at this property, however we tried to modify a fourth day, when we received word that our son's Navy ship was departing early. We were unsuccessful working through Expedia, only an hour past the cancellation period, and had to pay for an unused 4th night. While I understand this is a business transaction I am disappointed in Expedia and the property owner for not having a higher level of customer service and compassion.

Property condition was exactly same as advertised. Mobile home ( Marine) was Well maintained. Inspite of no power in entire island, host went extra miles to buy a new gen set and ensured that common area is well lit. They have beautiful sea facing sitting arrangement.

Excellent! There was some confusion with how to open my trailer door on the first day. I think more details on how to open the gate vs trailer would be helpful, especially for a first timer. Other than that, no complaints at all. It was so comfortable, I can’t even begin to explain. Felt secure and had no problems. I stayed in La tortuga and literally everything I needed amenities wise was there. It’s nice to chill in the hammock and watch the sea nearby. The common area is truly slept on, more people should hang out there. Have a party!! Gate easy to open and easy to close with code. I took Uber to most places, so it is more tucked away and not in the city center. I did okay with that, but if I want more walkability or be closer to people (it’s quiet) / busy areas, this is more solitude / relax oriented. I was a solo traveler.

Patio set up is awesome with hammocks/seating by the water, grill, games and covered area to eat outside. Easy check in. Well maintained. Beautiful location.

Camper needs better stairs sloped am fell

Nice place , stayed in deluxe camper . Got what we expected , Was decent . Was hoping to open windows at night but no screens on any windows to listen to waves. Oven didn’t work( wanted to make a pizza) . Nice patio area! Ac was noisy.

Great terrace. Bed, sofa and pillows are uncomfortable. The reservation was for 3 guests and there were only 2 towels.

Excelent place!! You won't find a better getaway. Very quiet and very private. Thank you Loved the place.
