Lovely local stay. Great location. Safe and convenient parking and accessible. I enjoyed every minute of my trip.

Ariana Ariana is the best,

Perhaps the most important thing to me, after staying in a Lima hotel on a noisy street, was staying in a quiet neighborhood. Motels have no control over how noisy a neighborhood may be. But currently Janer House neighbors (it's a residential area) make practically no noise at all. Also, I appreciated having a fridge and micro. I'd stay at Janer House again.

Apparently this is a room with outside access, in a house with at least 3 or 4 other similar rooms. There is no signage to tell you where the Janer House room is - it took us 10-15 minutes to find it. You are supposed to call a number to get access, which we did. There was only a recorded message, in Spanish, and no one returned my call when I left a message. We left and got another place, last minute on a Sunday night. Expedia is refunding our money even though the reservation was nonrefundable, because they weren't able to reach the property manager either. Not a place we would go back to

Really like the customer service the best

No hot water. Nowhere to eat. Pots with no cooktop??? Entire bathroom is basically an outhouse. Neighbors asked me to not flush the toilet because it was backing up on them. As soon as I arrived I immediately began asking to check out the next day. I was given the runaround and then ignored. I wouldn’t recommend staying there unless you rent a car. I probably spent $500 on Uber and $500 on DoorDash Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

Central location and around the local culture

I wouldn’t recommend staying at this property nor would I book again. The “shower” in the bathroom had very poor pressure and it was low. My fiancé couldn’t even wash his hair after we left the beach because the shower was too low and water barely came out of it. Second, the air conditioner has MOLD GROWING right underneath it. And third the bed size is NOT A QUEEN BED, it was a full. My fiancé and I had poor sleep because of how small the bed was.

This property was thoroughly clean and you could smell the freshness. There was, however, also water damage on the wall and the beginning of mold near the AC. There were also a lot of sirens in the early morning. I really appreciated the separate parking space and think this property is good and inexpensive for a short stay (I was there for one night)
