The air conditioning did not work went out the first day we had to cut our stay short! There were roaches in the bathroom and in the hallway! Complained about it, but did not get resolved! So we just left

Lovely resort, great staff.

Great stay and clean rooms. The building exterior needs repair. The pool was awesome and not crowded. Great pool service also. Definitely would stay again.

Daily housekeeping services were severely lacking especially at the price point of this hotel. Bed sheets were never changed during a 5 night stay even after requesting it. Black mold in shower tile/grout. Used Qtip/drinking straw, and trash/hair in drawers upon arrival/check in. Found roach in bathroom one night. Cobwebs in corners of room and light fixtures. Found hotel room door unlocked/opened after coming back from day at the beach. Dirty outdoor balcony furniture. This hotel might be "renovated" but the inadequate upkeep and housekeeping makes it undesirable to return next year. Management should take a long look and try to fix the inadequacies before they start losing return guests.

The Sanderling is absolutely magical. I entered check in and was greeted by Lisa who is so helpful and kind. Our king suite was roomy and offered amazing views and the decor is beautiful. The two pools, beach set up with chairs are umbrella are included. The property has a Lifesaving station restaurant. It is amazing to see how the rescues occurred off the coast years ago and see the museum pieces on display in the restaurant. We spent two nights and truly relaxed. I can’t wait to return.
