We stayed in the Beehive at the Hideout for one night and it was the most wonderful, relaxing experience. The staff greets you upon arrival with fresh cold coconuts and then they led us to our Beehive. For dinner we got to experience the traditional Balinese shared meal, mugibeng, on Fridays they offer this), and two Balinese dancers performed to live bamboo music. The Hideout was a great place to unwind after the crowds and chaos of Ubud. Winarta was a wonderful driver who took is to our next hotel in Sideman. We wish we could have stayed more nights here! They even brought out a birthday cake for our son! Our 8-year old really loved exploring this place too!

Everything was exceptional—the staff, the service, the impeccable cleanliness. I asked if we could have the light near the river turned off so that we could enjoy the natural darkness, and a staff member tried to accommodate us, but light wouldn’t turn off.

This place was a dream! Fantastic bamboo villa with its own yard to enjoy. The outside shower was definitely a highlight as well as an outdoor tub, which included a basket of flowers to place in the tub. Everything was very perfect! The Bluetooth speaker in the room was fun and I loved disconnecting from technology, even though they did have wifi to contact room services through whats app.

I really have no complaints. We didn't encounter any bugs, which I thought might be bothersome. I did see a lizard on the roof in the evening but it never seemed to move or both us.

The views were surreal and location was top notch. The villa wasn't quite ready when we arrived so free massages were offered while we waited. Amazing! Staff is friendly, helpful, and the food delicious. I can't wait to go back and stay longer.

What not to like? The place is amazing and love the jungle sounds.
