Fantastic stay. Out and open to the jungle. Luxurious and comfortable. Excellent food. Great friendly staff. Once in a life time experience.

As the place is open to the forest, be prepared to encounter rats, bats, leaches, mosquitoes lizards and other insects. Limited and fixed food menu. Not for you if you want privacy.

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The property was breathtaking. We loved the service that was provided for breakfast and dinner. Also, the staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs.

The ants were a bit of a problem. They swarmed on our food the minute we sat our plates down to eat. Also, they were in the bed and crawling on us at times. In addition, we wished there were paper towels as well as power outlets downstairs to charge our phones.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Always checking in on us to see what we needed. They even offered us complimentary dinner one night! The property is gorgeous. Any negative reviews I’ve seen are from people who booked this expecting western standards in the middle of a jungle! It’s meant to be a soothing disconnect that brings you closer to nature. It’s not a western 5 star hotel and it’s not meant to be. But if you have an adventurous spirit this place will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated!

My stay at Hideout Eco Bamboo House Bali was truly unforgettable. The bamboo design, the river, and the surrounding jungle made it feel like I was living inside a tropical daydream. It’s peaceful, cosy, and beautifully crafted — the perfect escape from everything. One of the highlights was having a massage with a lovely lady called Bunga. She was incredible and made the whole experience even more relaxing and special. The staff were warm and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the whole place just felt magical. If you’re looking for a unique, nature-filled getaway, Hideout is absolutely worth it.

Incredible place! This was the most unique and beautiful place I’ve stayed in Bali. Luxurious and modern but also rustic and set in nature. The villa I stayed in, Tantra, was all open but surprisingly there weren’t any bugs. Bed was super cozy. The service and staff were exceptional. Food was top-notch. Truly a magical place in the jungle!
