OLD STATION HOTEL

We chose this hotel as it is just 5-minute walk from the train station and we had to catch an early morning train. Price is a bit high but facilities are very good - nice, clean room with view of the station and its surrounding. There is an inner rose garden by a restaurant which seemed only open for breakfast. The staff was nice and offered free tea/coffee and sweets as welcome gifts, as well as prepared meal boxes for us as we would leave too early for breakfast. Nearby there are trams into the city, a small market, and further to the road intersection there is a supermarket.

It's quite noisy whenever a train arrives. As the neighbourhood is far from the city centre, there is not much around to see and do, including limited dining options.

Clean, smelled good, quiet, air conditioned, fast wifi, charming welcome coffee served in nice cups on saucers on a tray.

Loved everything

Beautiful and spacious room in a superb location right next to the train station. Perfect if you have an early or late train into Samarkand. Restaurants and stores with walking distance. Breakfast was included and staff were all friendly.

Great location around 200m walk from station exit. Incredibly helpful staff who facilitated a late check in for us. Beds really comfy and room spotless. Great breakfast.
