OLD STATION HOTEL

Perfect location for the station. Friendly and helpful staff who even bring you tea in your room.

The only criticism I can think of is the packed meal they gave me for the night train wasn't very appetising, but that's a matter of personal taste.

Location and staff! It's next door to the train station. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. Definitely recommend if you have an early train ride!!

The bathroom is quite small

The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a couple of minutes away from the station. Very nice rooms (yet very cheap!), but the main reason I would stay there again is that the hotel staff, including the manager, are probably the nicest people I have ever met when travelling.

It is very near to station. So if you are traveling from samarkand to anywhere else, stay here. It is walkable distance to station.

This is a great place to get some sleep before catching a train or when arriving by train.It's just next to the station and it's very comfortable and clean.The young man at reception is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very morden and new. The room is big, clean and comfortable. The air conditioner is quiet and cold enough. The shower water is large enough and hot water is good. The staff is very friendly and polite, their English are good. Since we were too tired and we wake up at 11am in the morning, they know we missed out breakfast, slather staff actively packed a pack lunch is its drink for us! I strongly recommend staying with them, amazing experience!

Breakfast food is not enough to choose.

The Old Station Hotel in Samarkand offers an incredibly convenient location, directly adjacent to the railway station. This made our train excursions to Tashkent, Bukhara, and Karshi exceptionally easy to plan and execute. The hotel itself was good, and the staff were remarkably polite. A particular highlight was the administrator, Parviz, who was exceptionally attentive and hospitable. He went above and beyond by arranging early breakfasts for our early morning train departures (well before their usual 7 am start), even though we initially declined. The only minor drawback was the absence of a lift, and our room was on the second floor (first floor in British English). However, Parviz kindly offered to carry our luggage, which we appreciated even though we declined his generous offer. Overall, I highly recommend the Old Station Hotel, especially for travelers planning to explore Samarkand and the surrounding region by train.

Proximity to station was why I choose the hotel. The hotel is superb- my room, the cleanliness, the ammenities, the comfortable bed and staff (Parvis) were all 10/10. Possibly the warmest reception I have received at a hotel in Uzbekistan - thank you so much for the coffee/snack and room upgrade- incredible service. The breakfast was also very nice in a spacious dining room or small garden. Loved it

Nothing. *If you are sensitive to the intermittent train noise have a think about whether it is the right choice for you. For me the train noise added to my stay and as I said it was infrequent- the hotel have good window glazing.
