Hostal Victoria

Friendly staff, super clean and very accommodating. They make us feel very welcome and we feel safe. Is a colonial style beautiful home with lot of history. Thanks to Armando that offer to take us to take the boat to Las Isletas in the morning, Edna and Josefina was very helpful during our booking stage.

The hospitality and the kindness of Edna and all the staff is just amazing. We feel like home.

The breakfast was great ad served with a smile. We thought the staff were really friendly and helpful and tolerated our sometimes noisy kids well. We felt very welcome there. The hostel was very clean, comfortable and inviting to relax in. It was surprisingly quiet given its very central location.

The 10 bed dorm was a bit tight for space and it was awkward to get in and out of the bathroom with a set of lockers and bunk bed in the way. Some of the sheets were thin and had tears in them.

We absolutely LOVED this hotel! Firstly, the staff are awesome, super friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is really beautiful, spacious and in an excellent location close to all the restaurants and centre. Our room was excellent, super comfy bed, very clean, fast WiFi, private bathroom, perfect air con and we had a cool balcony and hammock too! To top it off, breakfast was included and was impressive! For the price you pay, this is top notch. We loved our stay here so much we extended our nights. I highly recommend Hostal Victoria!

The hostel itself i loved. It feels very spanish if thats the right word. Older building renovated. Very nicely done. I love my room. Unique. Cosy. Nice bed! Air conditioning. Staff are very warm and friendly. There are staff who speak very good English. Just steps to great restaurants. Lots of variety. Beautiful restaurants. So many with the open area inside, fountains, lush gardens. Got my laundry done, it was excellent. Breakast is delicious. Close to local markets. I love the architecture here. Lovely people. Lots approach to sell there goods but i just say no and they are gracious. I love you Granada!

When we arrived we were told the room we had booked, a large room with balcony was already booked. We were then offered a small room with no external window next to the kitchen. The host said the balcony room may be available the next day but then another guest said she had been promised it. We did not stay and the host told us he does not take booking from Booking.com.

Such an amazing place. My room number 9 was totally amazing. For any price it was a 10. Extremely affordable. Great breakfast, they go out of the way to provide you the best meal. Quiet a awesome AC, strong reliable wifi and well equipped kitchen. Staff are exceptional. Airport transfers and taxis available at about $10 cheaper than anyone else. Perfect place for backpacker too. Definitely book your stay with them.

Hostal Victoria was one of our favourite stays in the whole of Central America, the value for money is fantastic with a beautiful building, safe and comfortable rooms and the friendliest staff in Nicaragua!
