Mount Lemmon Lodge

We asked for a room on top floor and got it! Very clean & comfy bed, lovely patio view of sky & hillside. The staff at reception, amazing gift shop, and restaurant were all very nice and helpful. The casual but artistic mountain themed room has a microwave & refrigerator, mini bar & snacks reasonably priced. Only negative is the air conditioner vent looked dirty, like the filter needed changing. I did not see a hair dryer in the room. We loved getting out of the 100+ degree weather in Tucson and thoroughly enjoyed the cool mountain top temps (50s to 70s) and hiking around the meadow and giant rocks at the end of the mountain summit road. Plus the lodge offers music and art events throughout the year. The village of Summerhaven and the ski lift area have various eateries & stores but many close on Tues & Thurs, something to remember for weekday visits. Altogether, our stay at Mt Lemmon Lodge was very relaxing and enjoyable. We will return!

The Lodge at Summerhaven is lovely and charming. The staff is welcoming and attentive. I just wish Summerhaven had more food options for dinner. It was a Tuesday and only the Sawmill and Beyond Bread with a limited menu were open.

Mt. Lemmon Lodge is just a short drive from Tucson and is situated in a beautiful mountainous area surrounded by pine and oak trees. It’s an excellent place to escape the heat of Tucson. The property is beautifully landscaped, and the staff are wonderful and very attentive to our needs. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and quite spacious. This is a great little gem, and we would stay here again.

Beautiful room in the mountains.

Very friendly and genuine staff, working hard. I was pleasantly surprised at the common areas and restaurant, almost like a full service restaurant, which I was not expecting. This is a tiny mountain top area, not really even a town, and the lodge seems to be presenting the best possible situation, for the limitations of the environment, and the recent difficult history of fires nearby. I would happily enjoy another stay!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the accommodations. Everything was very clean, Loved the faux fur on the foot of the bed.

The hotel has been amazing!!! The property and staff are all great. Unfortunately we had some old grouchy farts that complained the whole time about our kids and our noise. My son overheard them at 6pm complaining to the front desk that shouldn’t have a foosball table on the patio because it ruined the vibe on the patio, we also got overheard them compiling about us on the patio about our kids and then we got a noise complaint from the stupid same people before 10 about zero noise. This is a family friendly resort and this is absolutely absurd for them to do this. They need to stay in their 50+ resort if they can’t stand kids.
