The parking garage is a joke. Very uninformative front desk staff.

Beautiful property in the quaint village of Summerhaven. Our room was gorgeous!

We live in Phoenix and went up to Mt Lemmon for a long weekend for the first time in many years. Mt Lemmon Lodge was great! The room was cute and clean and the hotel is just down the street from Alpine and Marshall Gulch hiking trails. It's also walking distance to The Sawmill restaurant and some gift shops. The room even has a microwave, mini fridge, and plates / cutlery. The sitting areas and sauna are great! We saw so many cool birds!! I saw a few complaints in prior reviews about the parking garage being too tight, but we didn't have any problems in our Toyota Rav4. The staff was friendly and we had no problems checking in or out. Two things to note - there are only a few restaurants and they seem to close early (like 5pm) so we just used the fridge in the room the save our lunch leftovers for dinner. Also, I thought since we were in the mountains, it would be really quiet, but the lodge is right on the main street and the sound echoes off the hillside. So you'll hear cars and people if you're on the balcony or have the windows open. It didn't bother us, but just be prepared. If you're a light sleeper, you might want earplugs.

The only thing that was tricky was the parking. The garage was very convenient, but the turn around radius was really tight. The fireplace in our room #303 didn't work and the staff knew this but didn't tell us. A discount was nice, by it was still disappointing. Everything else was excellent. We will come again

The room was very nice and clean. The bed wasnt very comfortable. The parking is horrible. So tight you can barely park. Obviously several people hit the poles you maneuver around in tight parking.

The location was great. Staff was nice.

Stay was great, room was very nice with all the amenities to insure a comfortable stay.

Really debated whether to stay here vs rent a house. We are SO glad we stayed here! The lodge is smaller, but parking was available. The rooms were amazing and well thought out, with every amenity provided. Downstairs, there is a Beyond Bread, as well as a lovely porch to sit and socialize or play games on a rainy afternoon. It was right across from the general store. We really could not have asked for a better time and will be back!

The Mt. Lemmon Lodge is a jewel less than an hour from Tucson in the Catalina Mountains. I first experienced the Lodge approximately a year ago with my wife. It is reminiscent of an Alpine Chalet that you might find in Europe or a ski town in the West. A great deal of thought, planning, and love went into the construction, decorating, furniture, etc. The rooms are spacious as is the bathroom. I believe most every room has a covered balcony looking out across the little valley the Lodge is located in. Every room has a fireplace. The beds are extremely comfortable. Everything about this place is first class including sheets, robes, towels, etc. The interior design is rustic but eloquent. I know that that sounds like a contradiction but it works really well. My wife and I first discovered the Mt. Lemmon Lodge about this time last year and we loved it. We were close to great hiking. This time of year it's wonderful to go up to Mt. Lemmon and wander around, mountain bike, fish, whatever you want to do. The Lodge has a beautiful lobby/sitting area with a big fireplace downstairs, as well as a huge deck overlooking Summerhaven, which is a great place to have meals this time of year. Even when it's cooler, they have heaters outside. They have all sorts of game tables as well. The Beyond Bread restaurant located inside, is perfect. You don't have to leave the Lodge to eat if you don't want to and the food is always top-notch. We were so impressed with the Lodge that we booked 3 days for our anniversary in October upon checking out of our July visit. We had an identical experience, again with great service from the staff both at the restaurant and at the Lodge. The rooms are reasonably priced. You really don't want to miss this wonderful Lodge as a quick getaway from Tucson in a very beautiful part of Southern Arizona, Mt. Lemmon. Ed G.
