Mount Lemmon Lodge

This is a special place and we will return. The room was lovely, the private balcony was perfect, and the deck area was a terrific location for taking in the cool breeze and rain shower. The staff is top notch. Thanks for a beautiful time. My only suggestion is to make coffee and tea available before 7a.

All rooms are Alpine-Styled, individually decorated, beautifully appointed, spotless and have balconies. We stayed here for our 49th wedding anniversary. Sipping wine & relaxing on ours, enjoying the light rain, (it was ‘Monsoon Season”) and taking in the gorgeous scenery & scents of the forest all around made for an unforgettable experience. Each room has a stone-wrapped electric fireplace. Beds are super comfortable. Coffee & tea (with all the fixin’s) microwave and refrigerator are in each room. There’s a genuine Swedish sauna on the 3rd level & towels are provided. Looking for a perfect gift or memento of your stay? Don’t miss the marvelous array of carefully curated items from local vendors found in the Gift Shop! Want more fun? The Lodge has renewed a tradition of the 70’s & 90’s. Local bands will be playing music on the weekends in the Lodge’s Music on the Mountain series. Talk about ‘added value’…yes! Been here yet? No? You gotta go! Why? This place truly has a magic all its own.

We had an incredible anniversary stay at Mount Lemmon Lodge. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and felt right at home. The bed was extremely comfortable with super plush linens. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the room and property. The cafe was also wonderful. We had 2 meals there and were the service and food were exceptional. This property is truly a hidden gem. We can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Mt. Lemmon Lodge. What a wonderful addition to Summerhaven! Our room, the Black Bear, was a nice & comfortable corner room complete with a balcony which we enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved sitting on the large deck, on the first floor, enjoying the rain and looking at the scenery. We reminisced about my childhood visits to our "Hearts Desire" cabin built nearby in 1917 by my grandfather, Eugene Childs. We definitely recommend "The Lodge" and are looking forward to our next visit. Susie and Tom S.

I have been to Mt. Lemmon Lodge numerous times, Both the ambiance, reminiscent of a Swiss chalet, and the beauty of the mountains are spectacular, I have stayed there on weekends to escape the summer heat of Tucson, though I imagine that staying there throughout the year would be a wonderful experience. The staff are top-notch, and the owners are very engaging with the guests. Rooms are fully equipped with coffee, tea, a refrigerator and a microwave. Sitting on your balcony, overlooking the mountain in front of you, and breathing in the smells of the forest is a delight. The special thing about this summer is that the Lodge is renewing an old tradition from the '70s-'90s of having local Tucson bands play music on the weekends. This summer's Music on the Mountain series is a fantastic bonus to a stay at the Lodge.

Wonderful luxury stay in the mountains. Food and staff were wonderful. Rooms are nicely furnished. Balconies look out over the forest. Parking and access was convenient with an elevator for upper floors. Gift shop filled with many items from local artists.

Had an amazing stay here at the Lodge! Room felt brand new, and the bed was super comfortable. Had a good view of the pine tree’s from a nice big balcony sitting in some big ‘ole lounge chairs. The whole area around the lodge is really cool. There’s a nice hike at the end of the road, and there’s a creek that runs right alongside the road. A magical spot. Will definitely return.

What an incredible place tucked away on a beautiful mountain right outside of Tucson. I had the opportunity to be there for just over a month and it was an incredible experience. It is very relaxing and a nice getaway for a long weekend. If you are looking to unplug for a bit, go check out this place. It is truly magical and a trip you will remember for a lifetime.

Diana offers a wonderful respite and retreat from the heat of Tucson. It’s always a pleasure to go up spend the day, taking the sites, eat at the lodge, And stay for music on the mountain. It’s one of my favorite places to visit and enjoy the day.

What a wonderful way to escape the heat in Tucson! Less than an hour away. Sitting on your private deck among the trees reading or visiting with friends in cool mountain air. Mount Lemmon is our favorite getaway and now we can do it in understated luxury!
