Arca Boutique Hotel

Amazing Resort and staff. A pure Oasis in the heart of paradise. Located on Roatan’s best beach but designed so you can leave the beach and within feet you are in pure serenity. Staff went above and beyond at every opportunity. Would highly recommend. Thanks Tyron.

The Arca was an amazing boutique property. Everything is immaculately kept and the staff is amazing (and I rarely say this but you definitely noticed people like Ezra taking good care of guests). Everything is also exactly as pictured, the pool area was a nice retreat on many afternoons. Overall a 5 out of 5 for the hotel, the only caveat that the location can lead it to be less relaxing than expected (although on quiet days it was amazing and again it just depends on you preferences). Just check the cruise ship itinerary ahead of time depending on your own preferences!

Wow! What an amazing experience. I believe Arca has the absolute best staff on the island. Extremely friendly, and attentive. They all speak perfect english. I loved that they checked on us regularly but was never pushy for us to order anything. The hotel management was on top of everything. They scheduled all of my husband and I’s transport to and from dinner reservations and well as airport. They always had staff ready to go, waiting on us. We felt very special. They had great recommendations, and answered all of our questions. They had all necessary snorkel gear available to rent, and told us best places to go. They organized excursions for us. I could call or text them with anything and they were always extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and practical! Everything you need is inside including a blow dryer and all toiletries. We would be gone for a quick dip and our room would already be cleaned when we got back. We ate at Arca for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! My husband had many different alcoholic drinks. All food and drinks were phenomenal. They had complementary coffee available every morning, as well as iced water centrally located and full at all times. The staff brought us water regularly to make sure we were staying hydrated. There were also tons of options, only a quick walk away for food or drink right on the beach. We loved spending time around the pool. It had a very nice calm and relaxing vibe. We were able to read or talk with no distractions. I also couldn’t believe how we literally had the entire beach to ourselves. There were hardly any people around. It seriously felt like a dream. It was a perfect anniversary getaway. We will be back! Whether it’s a quick one day stop from a cruise or another vacation. We can’t wait to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Arca and would highly recommend it! The location was perfect and meant that we truly leaned into the pool to sea pipeline for most of our 6-day stay, and the staff (from dining to housekeeping) were lovely. The rooms are very clean and cozy--no frills--and we enjoyed that we were only steps away from both the bar and the pool. Because the pool is for guests only and the hotel is ~14 rooms, there are always plenty of chairs to use, which was a real plus in my book. There are also guest only chairs on the beach that were very convenient. The other guests were really friendly. We also really loved the restaurant on-site, Ahari, and ate a ton of our meals and snacks there (left a review for them if you want to check out more info). We didn't take as much advantage but the hotel is very close to a ton of other beachside restaurants and bars and easy access to the water taxis, and there's a pharmacy ~3 minutes up Banarama road and a pretty well stocked convenience mart ~7 minutes walk down the beach. One tip--the front desk staff was helpful but I encourage double checking the excursions they help you book against what you're hoping to do (i.e., the sunset catamaran we ended up taking was way more "party boat" than I expected!). They will also help you with transportation to other off-site adventures and dining.

Loved this hotel. Roatán is my favorite beach vacation spot and I have strayed at numerous hotels. This by far was my favorite. First, the staff was incredible. They are very friendly and remember your name and room number. They are attentive and always checking if you need anything. The location is ideal as it is right on the beach. The rooms are very clean and minimalist which I enjoy. The flora adds a level of tranquility and relaxation. I can’t wait to go back.

A very special hotel on a special island. The team at Arca beat most 5 star hotels in their service, friendliness and standard. Our stay was fantastic, the rooms are gorgeous, the grounds and beach spectacular and the food wonderful. We will be back! Thank you.

Arca is the best hotel in West Bay. The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff is tremendous. A special thank you to Johnny, Ezra, Jose, Erick, Maynor, Orbelinda, Jocelyn and Ivory. They made our stay extra special. Hasta la vista, Kevin and Chris

Just Go! Best place to stay on West Bay. I considered several resorts/hotels and this one won out and WOW! Boutique, Upscale and the Best Service I think I have ever received. A quick What's App to the front desk for room service, a minor blind repair, ice, microwave and boom it's done! This is BEACH FRONT unlike a lot of the resorts that sit back from the beach and have buildings blocking sea views. A bonus is that ARCA is basically midpoint of West Bay and everything is a short walk. Only 15 suites/rooms and the staff is impeccable and gets to know you quickly. AND the food, everything was fabulous. We did eat out some but honestly, the food was sooo good here (and I am a foodie) that we ate lunch and dinner here numerous times, prices I felt were very reasonable for quality and better than other restaurants we visited ...plus on a rainy day ordered breakfast and dinner and had a lazy day, staff came up and personally took our order, didn't even have to get out of jammies. PRIVATE beach that is monitored by security. Daily 2 for one cocktails almost all day long. Loved sitting on our large deck and listen to the waves and occasional evening entertainment. Very quiet, serene and I loved it so much that I extended my stay twice and ARCA arranged for me to stay in my same room :) WILL be back!

The great experience of staying at this beautiful and warm hotel exceeded my expectations. Clean rooms, extremely friendly staff, and the chef's cuisine is top-notch. Many thanks to Flavio, Tyron, and Luis for all their hospitality. I hope to return soon.

We stayed at Arca at the beginning of May 2025. We knew this was a small hotel but didn't realize how small. It has 16 rooms and a restaurant housed in 5 buildings. Our room was really beautiful. It was large with a king bed, a sofa (or trundle if there are more people with you) and a spacious bathroom with an indoor shower and an outdoor shower. It's on a beautiful stretch of beach but something we didn't know before arriving is that because the beach is public there isn't an exclusive area of beach for the hotel except for a small stretch of sand directly in front of it. On cruise ship days this gets a bit annoying as your view of the water gets blocked by the folks there for a few hours each day. Because of this, we would spend our mornings on the beach and then when it became too crowded, we would move to the pool for the afternoon. Around 4pm we'd go up to our room (we stayed in the largest room offered with an ocean front view) and hang out on our deck until we were ready to shower for dinner. It was an incredibly relaxing we to spend our days. On one particular day, while spending the end of our afternoon on our deck, we were surrounded by bees. Apparently a queen bee had decided that the ceiling of the outside deck below us was a great place to move and brought a few thousand of her minions with her. It was pretty startling. ARCA management took care of this situation very efficiently. They kept us in the loop on everything and while we had to stay out of our room for a while, they offered us dinner for free and the GM gave us his personal number to call him if there were any issues that night after going back into our room. There was another couple in one of the rooms below us that ended up switching rooms (unfortunately there is only one other room like ours ocean front and it was occupied so there wasn't a move option available for us) due to the bee situation. The management was so kind and gracious and we appreciated how they went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. We are breakfast every day at Ahari, the on site restaurant and tried many different items from the menu and it was all delicious. Based on the research we did ahead of time, we really believe that ARCA is the most beautiful hotel and grounds in the area and after our own experience, we would highly recommend it.
