That it was in luang Prabang which is a great Town

Dirty, never seen so much dust under a bed, fridge didnt work and it was stinking, bathroom was awful, had to ask for extra loo paper, bin was never emptied, no clean towels in 4 nights

Nice view of the river from our balcony. The manager was very nice. He didn't speak any English but was a whiz with Google translate. Best shower on our whole trip. Strong hot water!

Great place to be in Luang Pragbag

Nice central location near the river.

A few key items to consider: 1. We didn't actually stay at this property instead we were moved to (we assume) their sister property down the road. We were given enough notice but we weren't compensated in any way for the room down grade (originally we had a room overlooking the river, this room overlooked the air con units. 2. Utter lack of any attention from the staff. Very short with us on arrival, didn't tell us about breakfast - we found out about breakfast the day we left. We asked for extra pillows and never received them. We were not offered any insights into any tours or activities we could do. Very poor attentiveness from the staff.

Easy access to town and straight out to the Mekong. . Amenable staff.

There is a fair amount of noise from the busy road that the hotel is situated on. That goes in waves and it is indeed quiet at night. However, there is a bar across the road that plays loud music, often karaoke and often well into the night. We did not sleep well here. There might be rooms at the back which are less noisy but the place was fully occupied.

Great location for the town and close to boat landing where we picked up our boat trip on the second day.

The first night there was loud music playing until midnight at the restaurant opposite the guesthouse.
