Melka International Hotel

Good location near amenities, cost effective, nice rooms, comfortable beds, good hospitality when the manager gave us a free tour of the city.

Restaurant staff seemed a bit rude, could be because of poor English. I also booked a double room with my wife but they put only one towel.

The breakfast was good although cold

I stayed at Melka hotel for 2 nights. The first night I was given a room next to the busy road which was very noisy making it difficult to sleep. The room's floor was also leaking and smelly!

The people working here are very cooperative, humble, kind starting from the operational manager who first reached us out over whatsapp to pick us from wherever we were, then the driver who helped with loading our baggages , the security personnel full of smiles, the assistant (Asme) who carried our staff to the room, the receptionist who smiled gracefully as she helped so smoothly , the cleaners who did all the best every single day, all the good people working in the restaurant (i wish i took a picture), and even the guests we met here. This was one of a very memorable stay we had here, and will be our choice the next time i come as well.

There were only two issues which werent comfortable. One was water. It might be a coincidence ofcourse but the water has gone out for two days . We wondered how such a four star hotel would be only dependent on tap water sourced from the muncipality. But we were told that they had issues with the motor pumping water from their tanker to our room. But anyways, two days of our 16 days stay here were without water, and me and my daughter suffered a bit. The other is the pricing of items in the small kiosk/shop they have at the gate (where they sell leather products, cosmetics etc). I bought a nivea cream with double the supermarket price (and a supermarket is just a walking distance away).

ottima posizione, camere pulite e letto super comodo! la colazione inclusa è abbondante, felice ci fosse la palestra a disposizione! bellissima vista dalla finestra all' ottavo piano!

La centralità della posizione e la vista della città dalle camere più in alto. La disponibilità dello staff ad intervenire subito in caso di problemi.

Il bagno tendeva ad allagarsi e dopo la doccia l'acqua faceva fatica a confluire.

The location was OK, the breakfast reasonable.

We didn't have hot water one night so had to change our room at a very late hour.
