Moore House Inn & Cabins

My room was really cute and super clean and comfortable. I had been either hiking or traveling all day and it was a great place to come back to, shower and fall deeply asleep on the super soft linens. I like staying at places that are not chains, because the places have more character and personal touches. <3

The cabin was beautiful. Breakfast was perfect. It had a very good location nice and calm great place to relax. The staff were very quick to respond to any problems and always on site. If anything happens they were very responsive and very nice. Due to the spacious group places made up for the small room. For example, you had access to a balcony living room, a dining room, an extra kitchen, which was shared with the other guest staying in the inn

The room in the Inn was a little bit too small. If you want to book a cabin, you have to select Charlet during booking.

Beautiful home and great location

We were the only guests in the home, so it was quiet, but I would think it could be pretty close quarters with strangers if others guests would have been there.

Super cute winter inn. Looks like a hallmark movie and is truly special. Excellent coffee machine with organic pod options. Close proximity to Marlinton. Very cosy inside. The facility is well cared for and looked after.

Our ensuite bathroom had an odour that was similar to a dead rat/animal. I think the owner was unaware of this. But it did make the room smell unpleasant. There was also no laundry facilities available for guests which meant we had to go into Marlinton to use the laundromat which isn’t great.

This Inn, more like Airbnb, is fabulous! Our room was spacious, very warm, very quiet. The bed was super comfortable. The dining room, was decorated in the 19th century style. Beautiful. Free breakfast was very high quality in terms of ingredients. The owners were very friendly. Highly recommend!
