Moore House Inn & Cabins

We stayed in the Moore House in the main building. This house is located in the forest in a very beautiful place and very close (5 min driving) to Marlinton. The room was comfortable, a little bit tight for 4 of us, but it was nice and we loved it. The house itself , the dining room and the hall are very interesting in the historic mood , like suddenly you are in about 150 years ago. The breakfast was good, with some verity of bagels, cheese and jam and cereals. For us the only thing we would like to have - some boiled egg. It is very nice place to stay if you are travelling in the area

The property was very clean, room was cute & cozy!

The room was just as advertised - a very welcoming and homey place that was in the woods. The bed was really comfortable, the surroundings so peaceful, and the wood stove outside smelled great. Everything was provided - shampoo, soap, breakfast, etc., and instructions were very clear for finding the place and how to check in and out. Caley, the host, was so friendly and kind. Everything was perfect!

Wow! Nice place. The owners reached out to me and helped me secure a two bed option when I had mistakenly booked a queen bed only. My brother was delighted not to have to sleep on the floor. Also, their suggestion for dinner that night was fantastic.
