Was forced to move to another room a week period due to them double-booking. Then I was up-charged upon arrival! To make it worse, I was "up-charged" 40 per night. When I looked on their website, the difference in the two rooms was only 20 per night. So I felt a bit ripped-off, twice. The house, and room and services were very good however. But if you get shuffled around, you may want to book elsewhere.

The owners were very friendly, attentive, and discreet. They cooked something great and different every day. They took great care and made up this really beautiful bnb with excellent taste. Everybody was impressed, as we found out during our very enjoyable breakfasts with other residents. The hotel can offer you also discounted tickets to the Shakespeare theatre, when you book with them. We would definitely visit again. Staunton is a great location for hikes in the Shenandoah and other sightseeing in VA and it is a very cute little town with a few very good restaurants.
