Azalea Garden Inn

Very clean, neat. Excellent location!

Great location. Nice grounds. The only complaint is that the carpet in the room is old and creates an old, musty" smell. A hotel of this vintage can be greatly improved without the carpet of the same vintage.

We enjoyed our stay in their cabin, which we found to be comfortable and spacious. Its location was perfect for downtown walks and the staff was more than accommodating.

We like the location of the Azalea Garden Inn and we enjoy visiting the town of blowing rock.

We did not like the room we were assigned at the Azalea Garden inn. It was represented as a deluxe room but it had not been thoroughly cleaned or dusted. They K rig still had a used pod in it and on every surface you could see dust or dirt. The approach to the room was with carpeted stairs that were filthy. We also saw a roach in the bathroom so it was not as satisfactory State and we left without spending a single night in the room. We have tried to get back up with the management and she has not returned my phone call.

Nice garden views. Close to shopping and dining. Wish room had microwave oven. Sink drain very slow. Maintenance was asked to fix, but they had no plunger. Maintenance attempted to fix but were unsuccessful.

The hotel room was moldy. We were given a room up a flight of stairs.Hauling our luggage and other items was difficult. They could have given us a room on the ground floor.A frequent guest said that she would not return.Please do not share our name with hotel or on line.
