The Shack Inn

Located out on the strand and was great for getting to early morning fishing trip for the grandkids. Very comfortable, great view of the water and otters playing in the water. Great to walk on the beach here. Quiet. Kitchen was nicely appointed, but still located close to restaurants by the harbor, and a reasonable drive back to Homer downtown for more choices.

It was a one-of-a-kind experience being right on the ocean. We had a storm which was a little frightening but once it was done it was incredible to have gone through

We loved the location and being able to have the windows open and look at and hear the ocean all night! It was very comfortable and the kurig made it nice for hot tea/ coffee. The smores kits were super cute as well(:

There was not a balcony attached to the room like the pictures suggested and the listed amenities suggested-however it is a short walk to a pretty private deck you can use or you can walk down to the beach very easily.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience! Wake up to a view of the ocean and mountains. Had all the basics. The weather didn't cooperate (fierce wind) but it was still awesome. The host went above and beyond for us. Just beware that booking through expedia may provide inaccurate information (there is no elevator! There is no washing machine).

Wonderful location looking over the ocean. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, and right on the beach for enjoying views and Long Beach walks!

Nice surprise located above a Bait & Tackel Shop. Our room was spacious & charming with a kitchenet. Just like pictured. The views in every direct are spectacular.
