Ridley House Apartments

Good communication from owner. Great location and comfy bed. Ok for one night.

The layout didn't work - generally dark, sofas facing away from the TV, cramped dining room, rackety spiral staircase, no sink in ensuite. The furniture was chosen for impact, but I would rather see a quality finish to the actual apartment - it was a bit rough and ready. The access to parking was also extremely tight for our Volvo. We would not stay there again.

Clean and convenient

Thermostat on the shower didn't work it was scolding hot only 1 sofa bed advertised as 2 and a dovet was missing

Quite expensive when compared with other accommodation in area. Parking is very restricted and narrow entrance / exit. Electrical appliances not PAT tested

The Apartment was fantastic . Spotlessly clean and very modern . It was a pleasure to stay there

There was nothing not to like

Great location. Parking available at the site. Good communication. Clear directions to the property. Two large double bedrooms. Quiet location. Quirky property. Comfy dining room and lounge chairs.

Poor finish to the fixtures/fittings. No wall mounted mirror anywhere in the property including the bathroom. No bin anywhere in the property. No bedside cabinet in one bedroom. A handle missing on one in the other bedroom. No chair or any surface to put bags or clothes on in one bedroom. No handle on the velux in the lounge so difficult to open/close. Few tea bags, no coffee or milk provided, no washing up brush in the kitchen. Loose edging on the step into one bedroom, a tile behind the bathroom door not secured to the wall. No bathroom lock. Masking tape on the wall beams. Uneven, very creaky floors.

Lovely apartment with everything we needed for a comfortable night away, centrally located in Yarm and parking through a very narrow archway.
