Ridley House Apartments

Excellent host who really helped us out with a travel cot, making travelling with a newborn easy. The property is in a great location and has parking. Can’t recommend enough.

Owner Gareth was helpful when we arrived and had no towels. He immediately phoned me and told me where we could find some towels in the apartment blocks storage cupboard.

Firstly, this is not a luxury apartment. In the kitchen, the tiling is unfinished. In the lounge area, the TV does not work properly. In the bathroom, it's unfinished with grout missing and a loose toilet seat and very wobbly hot tap (mentioned in other reviews). The double bed was not a 'large double'. It felt very cramped. I ended up sleeping on the sofa as I am 6 ft3. There was a lot of noise throughout the night despite the fact the apartment was billed as 'quiet'. Luckily we had ear plugs. When we arrived back after a night out, we realised there was no external lighting on the external staircase. All that aside, most worrying is that there are no smoke detectors, CO2 monitors or fire safety precautions (fire blanket / extinguisher). Avoid! We're not convinced the people who own these know what they are doing. Cheap, tacky, unfinished and potentially very dangerous in the event of a fire.

Fantastic apartments located in the centre of yarm. Very spacious and super clean. Great communication from host. Would definitely recommend!

Lighting in bathroom .

A beautifully appointed apartment, containing everything you could need whilst there. Ideal location to enjoy Yarms restaurants and bars.

The place was very clean and very modern. The host couldn't do enough to ensure an enjoyable stay was had. Will definitely stay again. A 5 star experience which i don't give out loosely. Well done Ridley House Apartments.

The apartment is set on the high street in Yarm and is very convenient for a wide range of cafes, restaurants and independent shops. Lovely riverside walks within minutes from the apartment. We liked the space offered in the apartment and the very comfortable bed.

Bathroom has had a lot of wear and tear and can appreciate that in between rentals it will be difficult to have enough time to repair or replace broken items. Items that need fixing.. Hot tap was loose and need fixing. Towel rail was broken and left on the floor. Damp along the back wall which was discoloured

Great stay. Clear communication, the parking is good but the passage to get the car down is a bit tight.

Location and facilities were excellent making for a perfect mini break.
