very nicely laid out. exactly as advertised

the only issue was there was no cutlery or plates. there were two glass mugs and a fork (!) to make a cup of tea. I think that the complete absence of plates and cutlery is an unnecessary omission. just makes breakfast a real problem. sort this please

The room was very clean and comfortable, plus the host was so welcoming and helpful! Would definitely recommend!!

The locationwas great with proximity to the subway and the shopping area with restaurants and movie theatre.

The room was freezing cold, no toilet paper and just one small size towel for 2 guests.

It was a more economical option.

It was cold without a heating system, and the blanket was thin. There was only a minimal amount of hand soap / toilet papers in my room. I personally felt it wasn’t very welcome.

Borderline clean. Passable but could be better

Booked parking for the three nights stay for £10 per night. A hour before arriving host states parking will be available from the next day and to look for paid parking around the locality between then. Did not make any attempt to arrange parking for us, especially as we had paid for the three nights which included that night, and this was confirmed with him. Was left high and dry. When I called him he admitted he double booked - which is fine errors happen. But, I didn’t appreciate how he tried to initially spin this on me and left me looking for parking in a part of London where parking isn’t easily accessible. It’s about principle. Very poor communication. Unfortunately we got locked out of our room (left phone in the room which has the code for the room)- took two hours of sitting in the kitchen for home owner to contact my partners line to let us in. Understand we locked ourselves out but two hour response time is not good enough from the host. Other air bnbs I’ve stayed at, hosts are much more prompt in messages therefore found this alarming. Also as this is a shared space with three? Other rooms to rent, you’d expect ‘numbers to contact’ to be written in the house rules sheet which is doted across the house. Everything is watered down. Hand wash in bathroom was so watered down it wouldn’t even froth and it was literally water. Shampoo was severely watered down as well as the washing up liquid in the kitchen. Didn’t try anything else but gave up at this point. Could not use washing machine as someone’s clothes as both rags for cleaning where all gathered in here. No hand towel in the bathroom. When I asked for new hand wash and hand towel for the bathroom, I was told it’d come in the morning. We were in the room all morning and none came. we left the room for the day and the home owner messaged us AFTER they went into our room stating they went into our room (uninvited p this time) to drop off the things requested.

Received all the necessary details for the staying prior arrival, direction and codes entering the building and room. The house is close by Harrow central, good location even if planning to get Central London as only 5mins from Harrow on the Hill station. The studio is cosy and modern made, as well shared kitchen with all needed. The place is giving a home feeling.

False advertisement so didn't have enough space for the three of us leading to one person sleeping on a very uncomfortable couch. Bathroom was tidy but unclean

Size of the room - the studio was really big with plenty of space. Location - about ten minutes from Harrow-on-the-hill (be aware of possible closures, the station was closed during the weekend for us) and two malls between the tube station and the property. Smart TV with Netflix, Youtube and such available. Heating in the room which you can set up yourself (but maybe a written guide would be nice). Contactless check-in and check-out.

The room descriptions and their amenities on Booking.com seem to be inaccurate. For the second floor studio, there was a small kitchenette only with cleaning detergent and a kettle - for everything else, we had to go to the shared kitchen. It would be nice to have at least a hand towel and a sponge for the kitchenette. The bathroom was tiny but useable - but only with one toilet paper roll and one body towel (for two guests booked for four nights). We were given one additional body towel, but the request for additional toilet paper and hand towel was ignored. There was no hairdryer. All of this would be fine for us, but the room description makes it sound like everything is part of the room - when it's not included at all or is in the shared kitchen. We were quite concerned about the security of the room - main entrance to the property and the studio doors are protected by numerical codes, so once someone has a code, they can get in. The doors were a bit harder to close properly, if you don't push them in properly, an invader doesn't even need a code :D Plus there was a construction going on some of the weekdays, so the main entrance was sometimes left open for anyone to walk through. It would be nice to be able to lock the door once you are inside - or better yet, a card or a key you can take with you. Otherwise, the contactless check-in was nice, but it would be neat if the property themselves reached out before our stay with instructions.
