We searched every corner of Bali. As you may have found by now, the options are expansive. Well the hard part is over. Sanna Ubud is undoubtedly & unequivocally your new home. Sanna has it all: ambiance, character, energy, spirit, dedicated staff, views, walkability, cleanliness, amenities, spa (a dramatic understatement), world-class gourmet revolving menus, dinners with cultural shows & music, room service, bidets, shuttles, concierge for activities & excursions throughout all of Bali, points of contacts with the activity vendors, infinity pools w/ built in waterfalls, pools in your villa, mini fridge, hair dryers, robes, slippers, mosquito nets for the beds (not that you will at all use them), rain fall style shower, outdoor stone slab baths in your villa, outdoor patio, CRISP air conditioning, in-room safes, bars, walking paths, buggies to take you around the property, a welcoming ceremony, english-fluent staff to cater to your every whim, and chiefly... the most friendly, loving, caring, generous, selfless, enthusiastic, & professional staff. You need not follow our mistake and attempt to plan everything before you arrive. Your new family at Sanna handles it all. This is our new home away from home. Our stay at Sanna Ubud was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we checked in to when we checked out, they made us feel right at home. The room was cleaned twice and the views were breathtaking. And let me tell you, the spa provided one of the best experiences of my life.

There is a lot I want to like about this place. Food was great, staff were friendly and tried their best and the villa was eco-friendly and surrounded by trees. But here are the main issues which led to a low rating. The water heater did not work in the day and night before we checked out. The receptionist initially said that would be fixed in 2 hours. After 2 hours, it still was not fixed, and we were told not to turn on hot water for 6 hours to allow the water tank to heat up. The next morning, there were still no hot water. Would have been nice to have a hot shower before we left the place. I get it that resorts may sometimes get engineering issues like this, but would be a lot more smarter for the resort to suggest something better than showering in another villa. Also, the drainage in the shower was blocked and water would flood the toilet - this was highlighted to reception but that was never rectified. Our villa was tucked away on a cliff and it took some descent on steep stairs. People who want to make any booking may want to ask how easy it is to get to the villa as it took some effort to get up and down those stairs, and could get tricky during wet weather. Wished there were more warning or disclosure on this during booking. Cleaning was sub par. Felt like staff would just do the bare minimum eg drinking glasses not cleaned, and towels not replaced. We left the resort feeling disappointed overall and unlikely to return. Not A Pretty-mana experience indeed.

It’s literally been one of the best hotel stays I have ever been to. The service is exceptional and the food has been delicious. A Spa visit has to be on your list while staying at Sanna Ubud.

Absolutely amazing property

As first-time visitors to Bali, staying at Sanaa Ubud was an unforgettable experience. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked away in the lush greenery of Ubud, it offered a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The rooms were beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with traditional Balinese touches. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The setting was so tranquil that it felt like a hidden oasis. From the peaceful gardens to the beautiful pool with breathtaking views, everything about the property invited us to unwind and soak in the beauty of Bali. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to experience our first trip to this incredible island. We highly recommend Sanaa Ubud to anyone looking for a serene, luxurious getaway in Bali, with outstanding service that truly sets it apart. We can’t wait to return!
