Not happy

I’m a solo female traveller and it was really safe, you’re from the center but there’s a bus at 2/3 minutes walking distance that goes directly in the center and then to move around in the center there’s a lot of free bus. The breakfast is really good! You can do laundry and on weekdays there’s really few people. There’s a lot of music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, but with earplugs or AirPods you’re good-it’s wasn’t really a problem for me.

Decent for backpacking

What can I say. I had high hopes. The Host is pleasant. Bar has good prices. Breakfast is there for you to cook and make yourself. Although pans were dirty and no way to clean them. Facilities. Smells of stale cigarettes throughout. Room was absolutely disgusting. Smelled like a dirty gym locker. Walls were soaked and mold is growing everywhere. I was told that it was being worked on but who’s to say when. Guests were inconsiderate. Talking and watching tv into the late hours. The bar is loud downstairs. It carries into the room and had I not had earplugs I may have been more uncomfortable. Bathrooms are gross. Mold all around sinks and showers. One shower wouldn’t power on. I booked for two nights ahead of time. Had I shown up earlier the first night I would have left immediately. Second day I left and found a place cleaner and closer to the city centre.

Does the job, Peter and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room is basic but is equiped with wardrobes, sinks and a comfortable double bed. The smart tv was a nice addition - not many hotels at this price range would offer this facility. Breakfast is do it yourself but the spread was good.

Owner was nice but the place was hard to find

A relative quiet weekend that didn't get distributed when settled after a minor hiccup when checking in got sorted very quickly

The free parking is a good option and access to local buses makes the hostel a good choice for me in the area.

It was a great stay.

Booking in a joke bar person no idea wot to do then took ages trying to find key & ended up in different room. Tea tray was dreadful. Tv didn’t work. Live band directly below room didn’t start til 10pm !! When asked for glass to take to room I was given a pathetic plastic cup, not classy Following morning probs with shower & no toilet roll in shared bathroom. Breakfast was a cook it yourself joke. Bits bacon few eggs no juice no decent continental to pick from. Left very hungry , dirty , cold & tired. Even the night before all the drinks I ordered were out of stock. Avoid at all cost
